I believe that the bible teaches that good actions lead to good results and bad actions lead to negative results, for both the self and also for others.
Like I knew a girl who wanted to trap a very good looking man into marriage by having his baby without his consent, she had three kids with him and after 13 years he decided to marry her, but died less than 8 months before the wedding in a drive by shooting and she was a very intelligent woman but never developed her education or career cause she was too busy trying to keep her guy interested by having babies. Bad actions have bad consequences.
I knew another guy who would always make time for me and go out of his way to talk to me because he knew gossips had ruined my reputation and he was worried about my mental health at church and now he has a PhD from Yale and a medical degree from Stanford and he is married to an Ivy league educated surgeon and she weighs less than 90 pounds, and comes from the same Asian background as him and shares his Christian devotion to God, and he loves God now, even more than he did when I met him at church 14 years ago.
The bible teaches that good actions have good consequences.
