What the bible teaches about results

The bible teaches that good motives and intentions and character traits lead to reward

And bad motives and intentions and behaviours lead to punishment

Good deeds do not lead to punishment by God

Bad deeds do not lead to reward by God

And in my life, I realize my punishments were always based on my disobedience and my sins

And my rewards were always based on my obedience and investments into God’s kingdom and glory and honour

Which is why somebody who tries to achieve good results through bad behaviour is cheating themselves
