Simple. Let's take this from a Christian perspective.
First and foremost, if you believe in Christ and believe that He paid the price for your redemption and allowed you entrance into Eternal Life, then everything else is secondary. You'll be more happy that you will be in the presence of Jesus Christ forever than you will with whom among your earthly relations are there with you.
Second, Christ also said that there is no one on Earth who will give up friends, families, and careers to follow Him and who will not receive a hundredfold more in the Kingdom of God.
And third, I forget who said it, but according to some Saints and Doctors of the Church, one of the joys of Heaven is to see the suffering of the damned in Hell. Why? Because they see the Justice of God being perfectly carried out.
Now one should not be discouraged or feel tempted towards despair about such things. While someone is alive, they can still convert. That and we ultimately do not know who among us is damned. God knows us better than we know ourselves though and alone is the Judge of our souls. All we are called to do is share the Gospel with those we love, set good examples, and then leave it to God. Don't presume upon His Mercy, but rather be intent on sharing it with others.

What god would send people to hell just for not knowing he exists?
If that's what your god tells you then he's pretty unfair. What about people born in different countries who never had such knowledge of the god you talk of? Do they all just go to hell automatically?
If there is a person who has a disorder which has been looked after all his life, not all there really. He don't have no concept of your god? does he just go to hell?
Do babies who die before becoming aware of god also just go to hell?
To think one goes to hell just for not believing in god. Is a bit daft and if that really what happens that god is pretty mean and inconsiderate.
All I can think is two things. On Judgment Day we will see every thought and deed the unbelieving have done and we will see that God's Judgement is righteous. We probably will find out that those we loved were not as good as we had thought. The other is the Bible says in Revelation 21:4-5 - "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” To me that sort of implies we may not remember them or we would be mourning and crying or have pain of the heart.
A very good question. I do know that I wouldn't be happy in heaven if everyone else I had known was in hell, so that's yet another reason why I hope that death really is the end (which I'm sure it is).

First of all you're too young to be thinking about death 2nd vote we are all energy we are made from water and atoms Athens Brokedown equals energy all energy lives forever that's what Jesus died for your parents me as a sinner your parents will just have to go to school it's their choice it's their Journey and you never know what's going to happen in the end so stop worrying about it live your life and be happy in the end it will all work out
There are several ways. One is your memories could be erased. Another way is your perspective can be changed so that you accept everything as it is and are content. You could also be in a euphoric state like induced by drugs, where you are not really processing everything on that intellectual level (happy and stupid/ignorant).
Because God forces you to be happy. My guess is that heaven (if it exists) takes away your free will and controls at least some of your actions and emotions. If it didn't then I see no other way to keep people from being sad or sinning in heaven.
Revelations 21:4
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”A biblical concept of heaven says that you won't be capable of feeling bad for people in hell. In fact, the version of 'you' that goes to heaven won't be capable of anything outside of mindlessly chanting praises to its god for all eternity. It's sort of like being a lobotomised zombie sent to a neverending church service, not the holiday resort people like to imagine where they're sending 'Wish you were here' cards to their friends in hell.
If such an afterlife were to exist, then I suspect our entire consciousness and way of perceiving and experiencing the world would be totally different from that as humans on this planet in ways we can't imagine, since otherwise, I find the idea of living forever terrifying. I don't want to live forever if my consciousness and thoughts are anything like my own here since I'd surely get bored being around for an eternity in this type of conscious state.
As Shakespeare said, hell is here on Earth, and all the devils are already here.
Each person still has their karmic lessons to learn, and will undergo their myriad personal hells. Ultimately we must realise life on Earth is just an illusion.I believe the story is that god just makes you forget about your loved ones.
Out of sight, out of mind.
You will be blissful. That’s all that matters. Isn’t it?Its luckily not that binary, if your lover is a good person expect him there to.
It's unlikely you will go there anyway if you are "loving" those sorts of people, kiddo.
Because no other emotion but happiness exists in heaven so think of being somewhere where it's not possible to feel anything bit happiness
God will make shure to be happy, God have this power to take any poverty from your sould.
