I don't believe in it at least in this life. For every kind of case where karma seemed to apply in this life, I see far more where people aren't punished for doing morally questionable things, or where innocent people suffer until the end of their lives and more malicious people get away scot-free.
I've made peace with that. I see morality and consequences like Poker. Sometimes a horrible Poker player will get so lucky with 23 offsuit with runner-runner post-flop against a superior player with queens in a high-stake hand and laugh themselves to the bank. That's life. Sometimes good people get punished for doing the right thing and bad people get rewarded for doing the wrong thing.
The point of striving to be a moral person is the same as I see it in striving to be a good Poker player. It doesn't guarantee that good thing will happen to us, but it improves the probability. Someone who strives to adhere to the Golden Rule is more likely to make friends and allies and fewer enemies than one who doesn't. Someone who strives to be a good poker player is more likely to come out profitable in the long run than someone who doesn't. Yet there are no guarantees in this life; someone can occasionally do everything right and still lose, and someone else can occasionally do everything wrong and still win.
This can be a difficult thing to make peace with, but I think those who can find will tend to find it much easier to focus on what they need to do in order to improve their own lives without becoming too focused on others.

My wife is Buddhist and at least halfway believes in karma and reincarnation. But her well to stay happy and positive is based on reincarnation. When she sees people getting away with doing something very bad, she'll laugh and smile and say, "Maybe they'll be reincarnated in the next life as a cockroach!" I'm not sure she actually believes that, but it tends to provide her some comfort.

No as that would mean some force that's supposed to be all knowing in this case would find a child getting kidnapped and tortured to death absolutely fine as far as karma is concerned also if karma was real wouldn't that make babies just the ultimate shield as nothing bad could happen to them ( besides the shield thing) I mean karmas entire thing is bad things happen to the bad right and babies probably can't be bad so enemy fire couldn't hurt them or the person behind them making them a good shield
Only so far as if you commit lots of crimes, you'll have a chance of going to prison. Or if you treat people like a jerk, you'll stand a greater chance of being treated poorly yourself. But if you mean some magical cosmic balance, then no. Bad people can and do get away with shit, and sometimes the good suffer. We should work to fix that rather than waiting for the universe to magically do it for us.
I believe in Karma. Not sure what is reward and punishment. But Karma is real. You get what you put out. And sometimes quite instantly. You cannot be angry and not get back what you are giving because you are the one generating the angry. It is already within you. It is wrapped up in Godds modus operandi
i get what Karma means but its not something i think about living in the word but there are similarity's beneficial actions and harmful effects of good and bad behaviors. i have a Buddhist friend she sometimes talks about good and bad karma, i like it when she dose that.
No there's far too many horrible evil obnoxious people who have wonderful lives because of their traits and far to many nice decent honest people who have very little.
It doesn't happen to every single one... Some people get away with it
Somewhat although some people really seem to get away with everything
I don't believe you should let everything fly but I definitely believe in karma cuz I seen that shit with my own eyes so I watch how I treat people
I used to believe in karma, but now I've seen too many good things happen to bad people and too many bad things happen to good people for karma to make sense.
Nope, there are always people that get to skate no matter what they do and they never get their comeuppance.
If karma were real, the world would be so much better.
No I don't believe.
I believe in God. God is written everyone life script. Whatever happened to us it's bkoz of God.
I believe in Gid blessings and in fake devil blessings
I only believe in punishment. Murders and rapists need life in prison, with no change of getting out, or the death sentence.
Yes we call it regret
If only karma existed... *sigh*
I get punished (not physical) all the time
Karma isn't real, but cause and effect is.
I believe in karma
