I recently discovered a cousin of mine is a young earth creationist. She literally believes the whole earth and everything on it was created by the Christian god as is within the last 10,000 years.

I had no idea what her beliefs were because I never bring up religion offline. I happened to be in the area and she was getting her car serviced, so I offered to drive her back to the shop to pick it up and there was a scientist answering people's questions on the radio. Someone asked him why some birds lead people to honey. And the scientist was explaining symbiotic relationships which evolve due to survival factors. She commented with "can you believe this guy, it's because god made them that way. There's no such thing as evolution". My response was to laugh because I thought she was joking. But it turned out she wasn't. So I asked if she really thought there was no such thing as evolution and she answered with saying yes and that she knows everything is only around 6000 years old and that it was "in the Bible". The tone she used when she said it's in the Bible suggested that she considers the Bible to be irrefutable fact as if nobody would question it.

I just drove the rest of the way in silence.

I'm Agnostic and I think Malcolm X was a terrorist and nowadays, would be the leader of BLM or Antifa. He had a good cause to fight for, but his actions were inexcusable, but nowadays, he's remembered as some kind of hero equal to MLK, who actually did things the ethical and nonviolent way. But I'm unsure how much of his Muslim teachings contributed to Malcolm X's actions.
