Is heaven in Islam painful for women?

Now before you come for me and call me ignorant or an Islamaphobe , hear me out. My father is a Muslim even though he is not practicing and I am not a religious person at all. Of course, I don’t know about Islam %100. I grew up in Europe , in a Christian dominated area. So I have a questions for Muslims of GaG or anyone who is knowledagle about religion.


I recently finished a show on Netflix called “Black Crows”. It educated me a lot about ISIS and how it contradicts the basic beliefs of Islam. However, I kept on hearing the words “hoor al ayn and houri”. I had no idea what it was so I researched online and for some , I instantly felt sickened.

Description of hoor al ayn ; “Very fair females created by Allah as such not from the off-spring of Adam, with intense black irises of their eyes and intense white scleras" .

Other descriptions ; “ untouched / with hymen unbroken by sexual intercourse", "virgins", "voluptuous/full-breasted", "with large, "non-menstruating/urinating/defecating and childfree", round breasts which are not inclined to “transparent to the marrow of their bones", "eternally young", "hairless" , "pure", "beautiful", "white", "revirginating".

So they are basically companions/wives of men in paradise. Each men who enters heaven is “gifted” 2 houris and if he dies as a marytr he is then “gifted” 72. Of course, their wives in world will remain married with him forever too.

Oh what about wives you may ask? You are stuck with your husband and his “houris” forever! You restrained yourself from worldy desires, obeyed your husband , followed Allah only to be cheated on in paradise too.

Also, if you ever admit to being "educated" about any subject by Hollywood or Netflix, then you might as well claim to be a retard. Black Crows has little root or branch in facts. It was not meant as a documentary but as a thriller TV series. Not watched it myself, but the synopsis is clear it's not based on facts.

Anyway, to the crutch of the matter - the usage of terminology in films and their actual reality is very different - especially phrases and expressions. Things like "houri" and "hoor" are often misrepresented in film as it's pig headed Western belief that terrorists kill themselves for "hoor in paradise". When in fact no captured terrorist has ever made such claims. Also the term "hoori" doesn't mean "female" but "fairy", but can also mean "raisin" as in "sweet essence of something good". But the other meanings come from the various other dialects of Arabic that are around. When talking Quranic Arabic there is a set meaning not held in others.

There also is no grounds in fact for the "72 virgins" made by many. This myth was mainly invented by the Early Christians and makes the rounds in right wing websites every so often.

As for the assertion on wives, you're lying to yourself. You've just said according to your "research" that "hoor" are " created by Allah as such not from the off-spring of Adam" which any wife obviously cannot be, as she is human, so cannot be "hoor". Hence, you're in your assertion, but also in your understanding as the word "hoori" refers to both male and female. All males and females will have partners of the "hoor". This is because they know their way around and in the Afterlife - where humans do not.

You've obviously a kid, and probably a femcel with poor family relationships. Which is why you don't understand there are many different types of relationships - few of them sexual.

Sura 56 and Sura 78 of the Qur'an state that the believers will have beautiful women in Paradise.

There are numerous ahadith where Muslim men are promised 72 beautiful women in Paradise. This was very definitely NOT made up by early Christians. Here's one example:

Abu Hurayra said, Allah be well-pleased with him: The Messenger of Allah said, upon him blessings and peace: “The humblest of the People of Paradise in rank shall have seven levels and as he will be on the sixth, below the seventh, he will have three hundred servants, every morning and evening three hundred dishes of gold shall be brought before him, every dish carrying something the other does not. He will taste pleasure as sharply with the first dish as he will with the last. He shall say, ‘My Lord! If you gave me permission, I would feed all the people of Paradise and water them from what I have and nothing should go missing from it.’ He will most certainly have seventy-two wives from the wide-eyed maidens of Paradise, the couch of only one of whom is as wide as a square mile on earth.”

Ibn Hanbal was the founder of the Hanbali school of Islamic jurisprudence. He wasn't just some random dude who didn't know what he was talking about.

So yeah, there are grounds for this belief.

It's such a backwards, garbage ideology though (way more so than even all the other religions that aren't Buddhism), so I don't take any of it seriously. Not all are at that thought though. Like my grandparents are extremely religious and believe all of these. My parents don't believe shitty types of rules but those which are logical and pray in Islamic way. I don't believe any of it and totally isolate myself from the religion. Now if me and my parents will try to change religion then my grandparents will be extremely angry, try manipulation or disown us. So yeah the previous generation is like keeping us in this religion only. If you see from how many Islams are there but how many of them really follow it then the number of true followers will straightly drop down to half. So we have to see it from those who actually follow it now from those who are in the religion due to family line.

There's been too many examples, since 9/11 and far after it, of Islamic extremism. Not even taking the violence into account, you've got things like teaching women to be subservient to men, that all other men who don't follow Islam are inferior, and so forth. Like I said, I'm not going to speak ill of Muslims because (although not religious) I believe in "hate the sin, not the sinner." I don't think it's a horrible Ideology, even compared to other religions like Christianity (which at least isn't condoning murder and rape in 2022) or Catholicism and all the pedo-shit involved with that. Far too many people have died or been raped due to that horrific ideology and the sooner it becomes obsolete, the better. Although I believe that about all cults.

And no need to wait for heavens. Rich Muslim men young or old are legally permitted to have many wives and are already in Paradise.

Yeah I'm familiar with this. I've heard about it and look into it a little bit myself. So to me, it just seems apparent that heaven was Muhammad's sex dream. That's how he designed it. It gets even worse for women though, because he also said that there are more women in hell because they are intellectually inferior to men.

Also, Muslim men can have four wives but Muhammad could have as many as he wanted because he was special. He also had sex slaves, conquered other people, killed their husbands and fathers and gave the women away as sex slaves to his generals.
