- Devil Stories Taken From Real Lives Are Becoming Movies Well, Has It Ever Happened To You?
I was the firstborn of my paternal grandfather's firstborn. While the family as a whole was avowedly Catholic, my paternal granddad was far more. One Sunday when I was seven, my father, brothers and I were down visiting the paternal grandparents. Earlier we'd went to Sunday mass at their local RC church but granddad never went with us.
I naively asked grandmom why granddad never went with us. All she'd say was he was of a different faith. Later that day, Granddad Theodore took me down into the basement of the brick rowhouse. There stood a large handmade armoire tool cabinet seriously padlocked. Theodore asked if I said my nightly prayers. "Of course!" I said. And then he opened that cupboard. Within as one might expect were the requisite 1940's & 50's cheescake pin-ups but ALSO some cryptic diagrams I was to later learn were alchemical pentacles & sigils. From one of the drawers, he withdrew a silver metal talisman of a caricature of cocked-snooted Demon. He gave it to me to place neath my bed's pillow and to add what I later learned was an incantation to add to my nightly prayers. I did as I was told and shown it to no one. For several nights I'd said my prayers unwitnessed and then one night, Mom came in to hear my prayers and we didn't get to visit Granddad Theodore for over a year!
In my younger years I was endlessly fascinated with Hollywood's embellished Wizards, Witches, Vampyres, Sorcerers and Satanists. But what was the truth?
I attended a parochial grade and high school but when I asked questions in 'religious studies' class the Nuns and even the parish priest were loathe to give honest answers.
At age twelve, we moved to a new home and there one night, I met the spectre of my Uncle Bobby who'd passed decades before I was born; he'd come to let his mother and MY mother (his sister) that he KNEW they'd relocated and that he STILL watched over them.
Pittsburgh is blessed with an exceptional public library system thanks to Andrew Carnegie, and while my father put himself through night school for his master's degree I'd accompany him because I LOVED to read. By age fourteen, I'd read EVERYTHING in the public stacks on the subjects of Magic and Witchery and kept copious notes and bibliography... unbeknownst to me, my Granddad Theodore was an Initiate in a genuine ceremonial magic Lodge (the S:. S:. S:.) and he'd brought my interest to the attention of that Lodge's Grand Master. I met him 'coincidentally' in the library's closed stacks and he was impressed by my bibliography... I got invited to his nearby home's private library and wound up 'apprenticed' for six years as I rose through the Lodge's degrees.
One of the 3rd Degree 'Master' requirements was a 'practical' witnessed, old school full Conjuration of an alleged 'demon'. I chose 'Asmodeus' and done respectfully a Sentience manifest in front of six impartial witnesses~ I have not since abused that meeting. ; )

I believe Demons exist. I may have seen someone Demon-possessed.
When I bought my house, I lived in it alone for three months. The previous owner, age 99, went to assisted care. Over the months, I heard noises. Doors shaking. Stacked up books and papers falling. Sure, it could have been the wind. I used to say: "Hello, Mrs. Copeland!" (the former owner's deceased wife, when I heard them.
Then they stopped. I learned later that Mr. Copeland had passed at about the same time the noises stopped. Maybe Mrs. Copeland's ghost was looking for him. And when he died, maybe they were rejoined and she stopped looking for her husband.
I believe they both exist although Iāve never never encountered either. I feel like it all depends on the energy that gets left behind from previous folk or even the energy that one consciously puts towards thinking about those energies.
One strange thing though: my dad works from home and he tells me about how he always hears footsteps coming from my room when Iām not home.
Not too long ago when I got home from work he told me he heard a loud drop come from my room while I was away, he checked my room but he didnāt notice anything out of place so he told me to inspect if anything in my closet had fallen off the shelf and when I checked there was literally nothing in my room that couldāve fallen off anything, so that was weird.
Another thing: recently my dad told me about how he saw a ghost in our house last week. He was in the living room fixing the blinds to the window and when he turned away from the blinds he looked over at the staircase & he saw a little blonde girl wearing a yellow dress just standing there staring at him. When he saw her he said had to do a double-take and when he looked again she wasnāt there anymore.
Thatās weird shit to me tho because Iāve never felt anything in our house and we been living here for the past 5 years lol
He says that if we ~do~ have a ghost that it doesnāt feel like itās bad energy so *shrugs* who knows
Definitely. I've seen them since I was little. Now that I'm older I'm a diagnosed paranoid schitzophrenic with PTSD. Personally, istopped taking the medication because the symptoms were still there and physically making me worse. However, I discovered that just like the ghost hunting shows that you see on TV where they call out to a ghost if there is one in the room while using a recorder. And as they play it back there you can hear a response to the question. Well I can do the same during a episode of psychosis in which I hear voices and I can play back my phone recording and hear the same comments I heard in my head earlier now being played back on audio recording. The way I see it is it's energy. And some people are just more sensitive to it than others. People with PTSD especially considering at one point they had one foot in that realm before stepping back & surviving death. If you're familiar with that saying if these walls could talk well mine do and they will repeat the energy that remained and it's terrifying really. It's been so vividly real and on point that it terrifies or intimidates the people around me because we all have secrets of what we do in the dark or behind closed doors & trust me I don't want to know but when it affects intentions to me or children from your past that's when I get mad and get called crazy.

So the predominate theory is that if you do believe in ghosts and demons then your 10 times more likely to see or come into contact with ghosts and demons. So I error on the side of caution and refuse to believe in such things, because I never what to see or come into contact with ghosts or demons... and in 45 years it has worked out great for me.
Yes, I believe in them. Demons and definitely Lucifer (Satan) believes in God - and they absolutely FEAR Him!
I DO know they're fallen angels - the ones who attempted a war in Heaven. God threw them out and all the angels that decided to follow Lucifer. That was about 1/3 of them. Satan is NOT God's opposite, he's more like that of Michael's or Gabriel's.
Nonetheless, these fallen angels, now demons and Satan's minions, were cast down to Earth. They roam the Earth doing everything they can to make man's life as miserable as possible. Their goal is to keep everyone from believing in God. When you encounter one, don't attempt to fight them. Even as a fallen angel, they're extremely powerful beings. Best thing is to cast them away in Jesus' name.I believe there was ghosts, I remember when I was little there was a small windowless room I stayed in. There was a rocking stair that creaked a little when it moved used to wake me up sometimes. One time I got really scared and went to get my mum the second I put my foot on the floor I saw the rocking chair completely stop and an old lady standing up pointing her finger at me. I jumped back into the bed and hid under the covers, just to slowly hear the roakcing chair move again. The next day I saw a picture of her in black and white inside the family album and the explanation that she's quite a mean lady. I never got out at night again.
I don't but in a way it would be nice if demons where real. Because people can do some seriously screwed up things. It would be nice to honestly be able to prove a demon did it and not a fellow human being.
I dont believe. I know they are real. I I won't go into detail here because it's too much to go into. But I've researched it for a long time. Just really something you can do on your own with YouTube. There's so much for the graphic evidence that there's no way that it's all faked. The quality of it is so good that there's no way. There's no money in it. And with cameras pointed everywhere we are saying all kinds of weird shit for the first time. I feel like it should be on the news every night. But it's not. And I'm not just talking about people that have died.
I've seen things like werewolves and shit on videos. I've felt things touch me before too that weren't there.
Too much eyewitness evidence from reliable sources. This world is something beyond what people believe it to be. It's so much more. That brings religion into it and everything. It's amazing the things we don't know.Yes I do, they are not necessary spiritual entities though, there are plenty of evil people who are demons.
I do believe in angels though as one saved my life, many times. If you believe in God, who is simply one side of the coin then you should also believe in the the other side of the coin, i. e. The Devil and his minions.
I think we have more to fear from the living who are psychotic than any ghosts or demons that might or might not exist.
No. Ed and Lorraine Warren were charlatans. I saw Ed in a video holding up a copy of the Simon Necronomicon and telling everyone it was a powerful grimoire which was extremely dangerous in the wrong hands. The Necronomicon is a fictional book (not a fiction book, a FICTIONAL book, i. e a book which doesn't actually exist) imagined by H. P Lovecraft and used in his weird tales. It's not a powerful grimoire lol. The guy is a Joke.
They also had nothing to do with the Hodgson family fiasco (which was a hoax) in the house at Enfield. They literally read about it, flew to England, showed up unannounced and were asked to leave.
Ghosts and demons are imaginary beings.I believe in demons, but not ghosts. āGhostsā are probably demons trying to present themselves that way.
Nope if that shit was real we wouldn't need to question if it is real or not as we would have evidence plenty of people and things have died in horrible ways so it wouldn't be hard to find ghost if such things are real
I don't believe in them but I do find the topic fascinating. I love visiting haunted places and learning the history that led to the alleged ghosts
I don't think they exist, but the topic is very interesting. I love stories and shows centered around this stuff.
I like 80% believe. I have seen a ghost twice in my life and had weird things happen but who knows there could be an explanation
I belive in Spirits Good and Bad. xxoo
Ghosts, no. Demons, definitely! I've felt them. I've been violently shaken by them as they fled in frustration when they were denied by God the chance to take control of me. They swirled around in my room in 7th grade.
And they never stop trying to remind me of any and all shortcomings.on the fence about it.
There just might be someting to them, but hard to say because things like that can usually be explained away.sometimes i believe but not much, until a few years ago I was afraid of a creature called a Ghoul. but now I know that it is just a character portrayed in the film.
Iāve heard way too many stories out there to overlook it And they claim itās in real life Not when youāre sleeping
This is not to mock anyone with PTSD or any other disturbance that causes them to have dreams, see ghosts or other visions. My wife is a counselor and is having more a more clients with these sorts of conditions - along with more financial stress- every day.
