No, in my beliefs god doesn't judge you and you can be whoever you wish to be but you have to life with the consequences and the weight it has on your soul. No flaming hell, but a place equal to who you are.

So if i wanted to rape and murder i could, but my soul would be destroyed since its the opposite of what i would want to be and do. I would shatter who i am by doing so. But more simply i just really do not want to do such a thing.

I life by my philosophy that the real you is what you love in others. I aspire to be that person as much as i can. And that alone will keep me on a good path.

we here are mostly all grown adults right? So common sense tells us we don’t just wake up suddenly and the rent is due. No. There is an appointed time when to pay your bills. In the same way you either believe in God or you don’t. There is no sudden “I don’t believe in God”. You’ve been faking and you finally got tired of faking and let your true self finally come out.

Every sensibly person who has common sense knows right from wrong, it doesn’t matter if they have a PhD in philosophy. They have a PhD in lying to themselves. We all know what happens when people rebel against there country, the government sends its forces to destroy them. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin.

But Jesus did the heavy lifting by dying for your sins on the cross, rising on the 3rd day, so that there could be forgiveness. All you need to do is believe in the fact that he did this for you and don’t sin no more Aka repent from your sin. Asking the Holy Spirit to fill you so you can have the power not to sin, because it’s only through God that you can win.

But those who refuse to receive Jesus as there Lord and savior, the wrath of God abides in them. When they die they will go to hell, of which God doesn’t want. The Word of God says chose now life or death while you can still find God, while today is still today.

Most 5 year olds still have to be taught right from wrong and I doubt any of them could catch me off guard with that!

I've been hearing that story for over 60 years and i STILL have no clue where they get that idea!! Someone killed him because he was king of the Jews and, somehow, that, magically, atones for all of our sins! Well, if that's the case, why was Charlie Manson in jail most of his life? Didn't the real Jesus already die for his sins? Shouldn't that have forgiven him? Can't I walk down the street and kill people for no reason at all and, when the cops come to arrest me, they HAVE to let me go because I'll just tell them that Jesus died for my sins and forgives me?

As for your fairy tale, it's actually a metaphor! Jesus, the son of god, (AKA: THE SUN!) hits its lowest point in the sky (where it dies) on Dec. 21st and then it stays there, "dead" for 3 days before it rises back up 1 degree on Christmas day. The birth of the new SUN! Get it? The SUN is god! The SUN brings us life! Without that Sun, we'd ALL be dead!!

I stopped believing in the mid `60's and, to this day, I've never raped anyone and the only killing I've ever done was insects (mostly those IN my house), rodents (also, only IN my house) and certain weeds and a couple of plants I killed accidentally because I'm not sure how to take care of them. I DID TRY but, I must've done something wrong since they died on me.

Nah, plenty of people who went atheist are not killers or rapists. Jews being one case in point. You have a lot of Jewish people, from the Holocaust and the present, who have given up God too. I think you would only do those things if they were already in your heart, regardless of your belief in God's existence.

Religion inspires apostasy. Spirituality inspires faith. I'm a Christian and I don't follow along with the mainstream ways of religion and don't go to church either. There is no true love or faith there.

Faith and religion are two different things. Religion is generally ritualistic, mentally oppressive, and full of judgmentalism. Faith is about believing God and his word outside of those walls of religion which are often falsehood. The Bible actually tells us we don't need a teacher for we have the Holy Spirit, but pastors do not like that verse and want to keep teaching the need to go to church. I personally prefer to read the Bible and grow in God on my own than to be surrounded by people who claim to love him but love ungodly politicians and who want to lie and say they don't watch TV or pretend to be squeaky clean but are sleeping with people in the church. My personal sins are enough. I don't need to be around those who have more.

Well, the pastors want paid and they have bills to pay at the churches. Upkeep of those places isn't cheap and having such incredibly high ceilings, where all the heat goes, doesn't help, at all!
