All powerful, knowing genius wouldn't allow his followers to translate His words into stupid phrases:

What are you talking about? The Bible is one of the most popular selling books if all time. Also God's word is eternal, it will never die out, even if humanity forgets His word still stands. And it's pretty obvious it hasn't died out cause your sitting here mocking it. Which u would be careful about mocking God. It ain't wise. God already used multiple people to spread His word globally to all nations and tongues. He even used king James to get it translated to English.
Pretty sure it's Hebrew or Aramaic
OT Hebrew NT Greek
NOt very good. If you spoke true Hebrew vs Strong's Concordance Hebrew they mean something different.
For example, Rabbi Tovia Singer proved Emmanuel is Isaiah's Son's name, and that Isaiah's betrothed wife was the "Young Woman" (Who was not a Virgin) who would conceive and this swas not the name of an alleged god-man prophet.
Most Jews alive in Jesus' time did not speak Hebrew fluently. They spoke and read Greek and their Bible translation was the Septuagent which was a Greek translation of the Hebrew Law and HEbrew prophets. Hebrew did not become a spoken language again until modern times when the Jews releaned their own language for the first time in over 2000 years.
@Wade12345 yeah…gives me pause about even opening OT or NT.
Die out? Oh no, no, no, no, NO! It's like this:

You're not the brightest, so don't understand.
The "word" and "language" are among the first and most fundamental tools of humans.
Even today and until the last human, there will always be words and languages.
Text changes mediums - it doesn't change word or languages. Doesn't matter if it's spoken, written, digital or quantum.
Interpretations are opinions, not absolute representations. Hence "lost in translation" is a valid thing in all languages.
Right, he should have streamed it.

This is actually a GREAT question. The answer is this:
God did not write those books. People who understand what God is wrote them. God is not a somebody or some personal thing. You gotta throw away that traditional bs. the Bible is written in a way that people can understand it but God is completely impersonal and amoral.
And lastly, there are only 2 messages in the Bible. The whole bible is spent telling 1 thing. 1 thing. And no it has nothing to do with ***** heaven in the skies.
That's a good question. Why didn't he write something that everyone in the world could understand, that didn't need interpretation? Why didn't/doesn't he simply come down and tell everyone personally? I guess that would make too much sense. God doesn't seem like a very bright guy.
People who actually have read & studied the bible don't think it died out & also can see there's a ton of hidden messages and stories beyond the obvious surface level. Lots of connections across the whole work that make sense when you have been through all of it but not before.
because that way you can easily gaslight gullible idiots. just say "oh gods word is in there, you're just not seeing it. and if you're not seeing it, you just need to believe harder."
this obviously isn't "gods" reason. this is the reason why religious indoctrinators came up with it.
Again read the Bible as it is there. Neither jot nor tittle will be lost or changed. All your quips are answered but you chose Ignorance and suggest you have some sort of academic integrity.. just the opposite and so very sad 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
What exactly is your question? What is the real point you are trying to get at? Cause this just seems like you are trying to take shots at religions, not actually look for personal opinions.
Well, if that is the case, then the answer is that they usually aren't how he communicates. Take the Christian Bible for instance. It is just a collection of stories themed around interacting with God/Jesus. There are no forwards from God or anything like it. It is to be used as a reference to things that people do that God supports. Now don't get me wrong, as a Christian, I firmly believe many of the stories were made up or heavily embellished. But their core message rings true. Just like old Norse or Native American stories expressed attitudes they wanted their children/people to have, God let US tell stories about what we should do. Due to interference from the church and translations, I'm sure many of the stories were changed and/or added. But most of the Bible can be used, in my opinion, as a pretty good guideline for your life.
Or it is an adaption tool. Allows society's interpretation of your Will to develop as they do. That way you don't have people with modern technology and development thinking like they did 2000 years ago.
It is a little cliché, but still true: we are not God. How can we know what God has planned? How can we know what is good and what isn't? For you to pretend otherwise automatically devolves your argument.
You are picking a fight where there is no fight to be had. If you want to be skeptical, that is fine. I was agnostic for 8 years, so I know the feeling. But do not come in with an argument that is superficial at best and strut around like a pigeon when no one "disproves" what you are saying. Base your opinions or arguments in something tangible and based in proof, not theoretical. My faith was redeveloped through personal proof, largely from a scientific background and understanding, not because I was indoctrinated into the religion.
I'm only replying about this one last time for others that stumble across this. If you want to pick a debate, pick a better subject.
The context of your question is that God is real. You are not debating his existence in your question, you are saying God (be it Christian or another religion) has a bad plan with their written texts. To repeat myself, you can't know what an all-knowing (or close enough to it) God has planned. Because their plans might be millions of years in the making. You can't pretend to be smarter than them by saying something is stupid, cause your idea of what is smart is impossible to compare when it comes to them. And to pretend otherwise in the context of your own question is a pretty horrible point.
If you want to argue the existence of Deities, go ahead. But pick points where you can ground it in actual proofs, not theoretical concepts within the religion.
I knew you would say that lol. Just completely ignore your own question pretending an all-knowing God exists instead of creating a good question that is about proving existence. To name a few, you could have asked what scientific proof indicates a God even exists, what are real life experiences people have had that makes them believe, what documentations or historical proof do we have to prove anything in religious texts are real, etc. Those are the questions I asked when I was questioning faith for 8 years. It's almost as if I can use the excuse "we don't know God's plan" when you literally give me a question where the context is an all-knowing God exists. I've already assumed you've been trolling, but every weak argument after this just proves you have nothing but the ability to troll. Come up with a better troll than "you can't prove me wrong so you're wrong lol".
Sorry i sometime get BS in huge paragraphs… (rereading your last reply)
Ok…not seeing a Q. But God had to “tell” someone the stories in the Bible right? Inspire or netflix into their mind. Then rely on them to communicate those stories. And then base our eternal damnation on whether we believe their stories?
I appreciate you changing tones. So long as you maintain this line of questioning, I am open to debate.
To answer your question, have you looked at these stories in line with other cultures at the time? For example, the Old Testament was first written decades, if not centuries, before Rome was even a Republic, Alexander the Great was born, and before Persia invaded Greece. The Delphi of Apollo was still used and the priestesses claimed to get prophesies from Apollo when the Old Testament was centuries old. I will admit, the stories largely haven't changed over centuries. However, that just means you need to look at the meanings and stories from an academic view. Compare them to the time period and what they can mean today. Those stories, be they from the Bible, Quran, etc., stuck over all the other religions because there was something that seemed more "true" than the others. Taking these stories at face value will get you nowhere, as they make 0 sense. But comparing the stories to other of the time tells you how to interpret them.
only these options. shows how evil atheists are. why would any author let their book be translated? because it is a good thing!
A supernatural being would NOT need a gawdam book to communicate with humans
If they cared enough they probably would have sent something they put pen and ink to themselves.
What should he do? Create a Tiktok acount to spread his message?
why would God leave you totally ignorant if he loved you?
Because that’s the way people have been communicating for thousands of years
Maybe, I’m sure of all zombies or robots you could just say go in invade France and I’ll be behind you in the world would invade France and France would be invaded and take it up the ass. But again how do we know there is no supernatural event that spurred the creation of the Bible. Answer of course is we don’t.
This is why I say Agnosticism is the only true non-religion because we admit that we have no fucking clue. Atheist guarantee that there is no God and realize people guarantee that there is some sort of God depending on the religion. I just throw my hands up and say I have no fucking clue
Not exactly agnostic atheism because agnostic atheism would suggest that I don’t know if God exist but I’m pretty sure he doesn’t.
Agnosisism rest on I have no fucking clue.
Agnostic theism would suggest that I have no idea but I believe God is true.
I’m pure agnostic I have no idea
Well then again what is truth? This is a difficult question to answer because there’s no approval what is truer what is not true. There Hass to be some agreement but why not destroy all government destroy all institutions and just live like you want to live? Why is society necessary for the continuation of humanity why not just break off into her own little tribes or factions or people we enjoyed to be around and live our lives amongst those people? Why have any interaction with those outside of your beliefs
Humans are religious by nature if there turns out not to be a God then humans are wrong of course we don’t know that science and religion can’t be based fact at the same time, a lot of religious people say if your scientific basis doesn’t grow like with the “facts” of the Bible either your misinterpreting the science or you’re misinterpreting the text. I doubt religion is going away any time soon. Look at leftism it’s pretty much a religion. We know the pull out of Afghanistan for example was horrible not only for the United States but Afghanistan and especially the women as well. But leftist have to say in according to their religious doctrine that the pull out of Afghanistan was perfectly necessary and everything is better and Joe Biden was correct and pulling out of Afghanistan
Another way religion has made its way into the modern leftist society is is the idea of gnostic dualism I doubt you’re going to address this and you’re only going to address the Afghanistan debacle but the idea that your soul is a woman but it’s trapped in a man’s body therefore you need to transition yourself into who you are solely rather than basin actual and scientific fact is a religious concept. If science and the law of nature actually you would prevail overall even the case of gnostic dualism would be shunned but it’s not. Not all not even the majority but there are quite a bit of leftist that actually have embraced the idea of Satanism. They don’t care about society as long as their self interest is fulfilled this is why so many leftist feminist look like demons or even drag queens that decide to make themselves look like A succubus it’s because they have ultimately embraced the idea of Satanism same with the idea of abortion you sacrifice your baby for your own personal gain or pleasure seems pretty satanic to me
It's because it's obviously fake, people made this shit up.
Because God knows that people can be stupid and many would be worshiping the original texts rather than the Creator.
Because you assholes screen his calls! Also his Twitter and Facebook got taken down.
Because he didn't.
Because emoji hadn't been invented yet.

"Religion easily has the greatest bull shit story ever told. Think about it, religion has actually convinced
people…that there’s an INVISIBLE MAN…LIVING IN THE SKY…who watches every thing you do,
every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten special things that he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish where he will send to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry for ever and ever ‘til the end of time…BUT HE LOVES YOU.
