Well, something similar happened to my parents...

Back then, they used to go to church every week and were basically really oriented towards the things of God.

The thing is, they met through a dream before even meeting irl.

God showed who was the "one" for them in form of dreams.

They now know and feel for sure that God was the one who chose them to be wife and husband.

The right guy will make you feel secure, and the two of you will work hard to make the relationship the best it can be. That instills more security.

Please, for God's sake: faith is about a personal connection with your creator to please him, to stay away from commandments that will make him angry. Faith is not about guarantees from God.

That's a completely flawed idea of faith just like it is to say that God became human and then killed himself so that his creations can do whatever they like.
