In the context of the end times theology and the discussion of current events and One-world government (most opponents of the One-world government or "new world order" also happen to be very religious types), the story is that this secular one-world government will come to power but then Jesus will later come to abolish it and replace it with his own. I wonder how that will be any less controlled though.

Jesus as a Dictator:

All leaders have agenda and goals that they want to accomplish. there are also rules, laws, and policies which affect behavior.-We may disagree on them amongst ourselves but we also acknowledge the importance of them being there. In fact a non-believer has a set of policies, laws, and behaviors he expects from God.-This non-believer is quick to constrain God as NB believed God constrained him.

Dictator is one who rules in absolute rule obtained by force without having a person's best interest in mind and may be cruel or brutal, however, God says "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11)." God is Sovereign Creator and the King of Kings with a plan for us. Even though, God gave us Free Choice to Choose or Choose Not God as Savior and Lord... In the beginning, God created and provide Choice as early as Genesis 2:15-17 where "The lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man saying, "You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."

So, there is the first Choice. To choose or to choose not Obedience. From In the beginning God to this very moment we have choices and at the crux of that is to follow Self which is our natural predisposition or follow the Word of our Creator God.-And each have their consequences.

SO... the basis of your question is illogical as a Dictator does not give choice. Our Creator God gives us Choice and in fact.. if our heart so craves that Choice then God will give you over to it. It would be far worse than any dictatorship you could imagine. First of all, this dictator knows your every thought. You literally can't do anything without him being aware of it. You are going to spend eternity praising him, even the Kim family won't make you worship them for eternity.

Yes. One is a demon who's going to be thrown into the lake of fire and torture forever and the other is where the lord Jesus Christ sets up His eternal kingdom and rules with a rod of iron in righteousness.
