Do you hate speaking in religious groups?

I used to post online in religious forums but it made me unhappy - I find I'm happier if I visit religious websites quietly, without speaking or drawing attention to myself. It's different if it's my turn to lecture but if its somebody else that is speaking, I like to listen in secret.

Open-minded discussion is RARE; too often it merely an opportunity to seek to proselytize. 'Conversion' is pursued far more often than 'enlightenment'. In the end, we ALL will stand afore our Creator to explain 'why' we CHOSE to do, or NOT do... the actions we undertook.

I find a lot of them are judgmental over secondary and tertiary issues.

I don't mind, I never enter into an argument or debate without truth on my side but it's not a good way of making friends, on the contrary it's a good way to make enemies. Shining a light on what others prefer to hide is also a good way of making enemies, it's rarely valued & rarely changes hearts / minds.

Truth isn't always good regardless of what others want to believe, my relationship with God has taught me that He represents truth & the ones that hate truth including professed Christians are in reality deceivers inadvertently exposing themselves by their reaction of hating hearing truth.

i enjoy Christians talking and i join do in when its about the Bible that's if i'm familiar with what there talking about other wise i'm listening

I don't attend religious groups. My parents were religious and I learned religion at school. No doubt my parents attended such groups but I imagine them being a bit cultish.
