It means the accumulation of wealth is evil. But because a lot of preachers are rich, what it actually means is that it is a metaphor about how camels are really tall and because they are tall and have humps that needles are, in, fact, let's say they don't mean a literal needle but maybe that used to be what they called any old entrance into a house and in order for a camel to walk under the crossbar of a door it would have to get.. on its knees! Hallelujah! Pay up, bitches!

Sort of. I think they don't actually believe it at all, but say they do because that's what they know they have to say to keep the mob from cutting their head off or whatever.

It means, rich people tend to be sinners, assholes, and corrupt. I think someone on here even wrote a MyTake called "Billionaires Are Evil." Not an exact fact or anything, but often more accurate than fiction. So rich people are usually not good people, is what that means.

That is, if, you know, you take religion seriously or believe in it.

Wealthy people get away with much, as do the poor underclasses. But the wealthy have a lot of responsibilities to fulfil besides. It's not a simple matter of "parents are high flying execs, so kids can afford to be coke heads"

He's speaking hyperbole, but what He is trying to say is that often rich people don't see a need for God nor care about God since their hearts and minds are often on things of this world and riches, instead of serving and obeying God's commandments and living for God.
