Why do Muslims call their religion a religion of respect when they want Sharia?

I really don't understand this, you stone those who don't follow the rules of your religion, whether it is slander or truth, you don't value women, but you call your religion a religion of respect, so why can't people say I have changed my religion, why can't they go out without a headscarf?

I ain’t for stoning. I ain’t for Sharia, as Sharia ain’t all Islamic. Islam is a deen of respect because respect is obligatory in it. Muhammad (peace and blessings upon Him) respected people to many of trustworthy hadiths. Many fellow Muslims agree with me.

Firstly, not all Muslims are as you described. But that being said, even Muslims have begun to admit to me that Islam is NOT a peaceful religion and that most Muslims believe at least some radical principles, and think violence is justified when it comes to defending their honor. Muslims are fine as long as you play by THEIR rules, regardless of where they live. As soon as you start to criticize them, their demeanor completely changes.

I'm just thankful that my family isn't that extreme and strict follower of Islam. They just do prayers and fasting and are against the nonsense part. And I don't do anything.

By nonsense part I mean where they discriminate women, focus on early marriage, and have some unhealthy rules, example you shouldn't wipe your hand after washing it when you sit to eat your food. And the dogs are not pure. And stuff like that. Every religion has that part but I know about Islam more since I belong from this.

That may be in the hadiths, but doubtfully in the Qur’ān. You have a full Islamic right to say no to marriage, and discrimination on women is harām. Cleanliness is a good thing, but how is wiping hands be wrong? Dogs used to be impure, but as evolution is real, the dog race changed, so now they’re cleaner. I’ve two wieners at home named Dasha and Albert.

@HippieVeganJewslim Well that's all what I know about Islam, the hand wiping thing is one of the food habit rule which I was taught by my grandpa, I didn't follow of course. The dog breed thing, evolution doesn't matter in this case, if it's dog then it's impure. The same prayers are said when you buy chicken from butcher to home and when you bring your bride to your home, this is how they respect women.

Which prayers? I don’t buy chicken, but if it’s bismillāhir rahmānir rahīm, that prayer is in everything. The notion that dogs are impure to touch/own as an animal companion ain’t in the Qur’ān. Read the Qur’ān and be careful of the sunnah. The Qur’ānists only trust the Qur’ān. If You really want to follow the sunnah, one Hadith says that the Prophet (s) said something like listen to your mother. They asked Him again, He replied your mum again and again. Then, your father. There are many ahadith about the respect to women.

According to a Hadith, when Aisha was talking to the Prophet (peace and blessings upon Him) in a loud voice, Her father Abu Bakr came in and was about to hit Her, when the Prophet (s) stopped Abu Bakr. The Prophet is said to have pardoned and forgiven. He forbade letting an animal die twice. He didn’t shout and spoke slowly.

Dunno which atheists and Xtians you mean, but Islam values women. The third-longest chapter of the Qur’ān is about the women, an-Nīsà. One of the shortest chapters is about the men, an-Nās, at the end, just six short verses.
