I wouldn’t go that far, but I don’t really view religion as a positive influence on human behavior. I mean, on the surface, maybe, but in actual practice, I feel like it just ends up breeding divisiveness, intolerance, and bigotry. The problem lies in the absolutism believers hold in their respective religions, and many people seem to lose the ability to just personally live the way they feel is right, and instead try to impose it on everyone around them, trying to base our laws around it, and just generally weaving it into the fabric of our society. If you just pray in the privacy of your own home or house of worship and don’t let it touch anyone else or the outside world, knock yourself out, I have absolutely no problem with that. Observe whatever you please, but I think you’re “doing it right” if no one else even knows what you’re into.
Kind of. As long as you aren't hurting others, I don't care.
(YOU HEAR THAT, ISLAM? AS LONG AS YOU AREN'T *HURTING OTHERS!*)
I'm agnostic. Believe whatever you want to; just as long as I don't have to.

Religions are cults which create ideologies to control people. They have some advantages for people who need the feel to belong to congregation but they have the evil side of indoctrination and power greed. If one specific cult takes a society over it cements any possible development of this society with dogmas and taboos because opposition or competition isn't allowed.
Forcing your religious views on others is an act of violence.
So gays forcing their "religion" on us is an act of violence too, since a belief can be religion?

I neither agree nor disagree. I see religion as intensely personal. It's not something that should be imposed from outside. That's why theocracy, such as we see in Iran, is an affront to human rights and dignity.
It's puerile and you can often tease the fuckers with something like "With your lack of charm and penetration? Keep wishing!
So long as one person believes their way is right & the others wrong you will have conflict. Human history proves this.
Thank religion.
I see you've got my ex-fiance's name in that picture!
I think I twist it in my mind and think that, yeah, to a lot of people to F is their religion.
No, and anyone who uses that phrase is an idiot.
yeah there are better ways of learning spirituality
Only if you're talking about the multitude of false religions, that are not the one true faith of Christianity
Totally agree.
Yeah it's very worthless
Only midwit atheists are so feral against faith
