Do you like going to church?

I used to love church for many reasons, the religious experience, the social experience, the food, the gorgeous building, the routine, the opportunity to meet people. I left for two reasons - I was embarrassed I did not have a verified career because I had not achieved my goals yet, and I liked a guy and got jealous when I saw him around other girls. I also felt like, I looked better on the outside than I did on the inside, and something inside me, felt like it wasn't real. I'm not sure why I felt fake since I was actually very religious, but something inside me felt like I wasn't being my true self and the guilt ate away at me.

I used too, but then covid happened. Now my parents make me read the Bible with them even though I'm not religious. I never was since I was a kid. My mom and dad never cared about what I think. I never got a choice if I wanted to follow the religion or not.

The last time I visited the church was 17 years old, I went to be cleansed of my sins but the first thing I do when i get home, I wrote an erotic story set in church. It was quite distracting to remember God while writing the erotic story
