Should I look for a second job if I want money, since everyone says religion is a low paying career?

One idea I'm playing around with is taking bible ideas and planting them into a secular context so I can make money off my knowledge, without exploiting religion for money or telling lies to make myself popular, as well so I can avoid watering down the value of good knowledge, to appeal to an unacquainted mass reading audience.
