That's part of a bigger question that I have. There are thousands of these in the bible... some of them are even more absurd.
Are you familiar with the "Mandela effect bible changes"?
KJV doesn't even have any words related to "demonic" nor "hallelujah". But it has nursing fathers, "dumb ass", "moon walking" calls jesus "the holy thing to be born", "the lord shall beat off", also that the lord will hire razors to shave pubic hair... and so on. Not just the popular winking becoming bottles, but like thousands of changes and many sound as if humorous. "two men shall lie in one bed, two women shall be grinding together", then no matter how many times it has been revised, the KJV has got funny spelling mistakes...

I'm just trying to figure out what's really causing it and the implications.

The popular theory among those who read the bible is that either the CERN is doing it or the devil himself. I don't really buy that... but am willing to discuss.
