Has listening to your dreams or signs ever turned out to be the right choice in the end?

I had 4 careers in my head and I believe God told me to pursue the hardest and least promising one. But I did not get a single customer when I tried the two businesses God told me not to pursue. That turned out to be the right decision, the career God chose for me.

And there were one or two guys that I thought would be a secure and happy match for me, but I got signs saying not even to be their acquaintance, much less a possible wife of one of the two guys. There was another guy I never got an affirmative or negative about but I was told it had to happen in a time frame and there were conditions I had to meet.

My Dad always said to find a job that paid well and learn to like it. I did that and retired at age 53, at half pay for life as a pension. When I retired, I was making $155,000 K a year. I wish he were still alive so I could tell him how right he really was!!
