Which religion do you believe in?

For now, I will say something as humiliating-looking as Athnostic lol because I cannot follow EXACTLY all atheists before me nor the Agnostics. For me it has nothing to do with belief. It’s logic. I have logic that God doesn’t exist and support the scientific evidence which suggest that. Am I willing to be wrong for the heck of it? I am but only for the mere reason of death. If we were immortal, I’d fully embrace God being non-existent. I shouldn’t even say “immortal” (excuse the residue of faith in my speech). If we did not *expire* and age, then I would be able to have total peace of conscience in rejecting the slightest possibility of God.
For me, I speculate and suggest he does not exist, but just because of that, I still don’t understand the aftermath of dying and death itself. There’s no way to extract information from the after affects of death and all communication is ceased. I suppose we just go non existent. Like in films where robots who shut down just see blank and never comprehend their own “sleep mode,” I believe our brain shuts down so we do not comprehend any part of our death.
We would essentially feel and understand what we did before being born and conceived- zero stress or pain, but no interaction with the world.
Rest from trials, but yeah no more “fun stuff.” So enjoy it while it lasts.
to rose you wrote "scientific evidence to suggest god not exist" where did you learn science like that? twitter? science ignored god not proved either way.
@strateguy632 i have reason to trust in the Big Bang theory. I grew up Christian and the theory was validated with the concept that god had said “let there be light.” And there was light.
Scriptures in the Bible said there were time differences like a year for us is nothing but a day for God. Evolution could be days for god and years for us.
Day 1-6 god made the creations and that was for us- the different periods and such like the ice age. On 7th day he rested ofc somewhere in there man was obviously created.
(I still don’t believe we came from apes. Even if we are evolved bacteria and a deity is removed from the equation- no we did not come from apes but evolved as our own species).
If you look, human semen is just cells.. basic form cell life, so that is what we originated from. Ofc the story and EXACT origins and the story of how we reached this point is blurry, but that’s not my issue- I will leave that to the scientists/ theorists/ critics/ and the religious people.
Anyways so the Big Bang/ aka “let there be light” seems logical. If I take my stance in religion I also know there has been no evident power of god.
The human mind is so powerful it can hallucinate and create and believe illusions- I believe that’s what paranormal activities are (basic format), sleep paralysis is, and ultimately schizophrenia.
Demonically possessed people are just average people with mental disorders or warped realities because their minds believe and cater to their illusions and such.
Anyways there is no evidence of spirituality in our carnal/tangible world. I don’t think there is any demonic influence on corrupted politicians or war-hungry people.
I see cause and effect and I see human needs and decisions that are made through some hesitant provocations and being compelled.
If demonic forces were truly at work and the almighty god was truly at work- things would be at an extreme positive or an extreme negative-
You don’t see anyone in government experiencing “paranormal activity.”
Those who “believe in god.” Work in their own strength and not in any spiritual way.
Those who “experience death.” And come back 🙄 are just operating in their subconscious.
Even though a person dies- their body and brain still take time to shut down. All the people who have “died” returned within reasonable minutes or comas still being viable. No one has ever come back to life after being truly dead and the body being completely shut down.
With no evidence of true spiritual power and no need for any intervention or communication from spiritual beings or “ghosts” as they would have their own world and have no need to try to interact with this one- I believe the spiritual realm is a facade, and with that being the case, it’s a direct link as to why God is not real.
No Christian ever heard the audible voice of god and if they had it was simply their mind imagining it.
We are just life forms that happened to thrive here for a time, but clearly this planet is not viable and not only so, but humans are too stupid to actually cultivate anything here without destroying it.
We’ll see what happens. Don’t argue with me on this- this is my
Opinion and I’m not looking to change it or put it on display- I’m not here to join a debate group. This is my insight and I’m very comfortable in knowing it. It takes a lot of manic thinking of worrying about possession and such out of mind and away from productive thinking.
Also didn’t god say he would not flood the earth?
Yet we see water levels rising-
You have to acknowledge science also.
Water could evaporate on some scale and not be retrievable if the ozone layer breaks down and water gets extracted into outer space, which would expose us to harmful radiation and dehydration
But I’m not sure that’s possible. It’s possible that we will have major flooding as some other “new age” until we see some sort of resurgence of a layer ice age (a cycle), and it’s also possible this earth will just not exist in latter times because nothing seems stable on this planet anyhow.
Everything is very edgy.
Regardless if the earth goes face some major flooding and rising of sea levels, globally, I will only say-
Well that was one other small reason the Bible had it wrong.
Also I’m sharing my logic with you- I’m not correcting you, so you may question, but do not attack my beliefs.
Well sure go ahead anyways, I will need to fine tune my logic 😂 and look for any faults, but for the most part I know this is the general answer.
Many civilizations have failed and after something as “powerful” as the Holy Spirit being existent and available to mankind, you would think things would change drastically in either way/ direction. It doesn’t.
All you see in the Christian society is rich people who donate and behave as benefactors and call that a miracle.
You never see big movements like that amongst poor churches- because they depend on money… they cannot even multiply their own provisions nor raise anyone from the dead.
There’s love in Christianity and hope offered to the simple minded, but there is NO POWER. Do you REALLY think a REAL GOD would be able to HOLD BACK- the evidence of his great power? He would not be able to deny himself.
Yet there is not evidence of God-like power.
It is just humans in awe of nature and science. But if you disagree and don’t even study science or read the scriptures to balance it all out, then you won’t really see the fault lines which are somewhat microscopic to the average human eye
I'm Catholic but I think Islam is a better religion because it makes more sense than the bible..
I believe in a higher power I believe in energy and energy through this universe as one I think everything denomination religion has their good points and their bad points I'm not going to judge but I do have a choice and my choice is I will take and pick and choose a little bit from each one not judge be kind be good give to others and make the world a better place
It's not a simple matter of religion, you have to put in the work for the faith too.
It's like asking someone what languages they speak, then deem them a "master" of those languages based on your dubious merit.
Atheism is a cult, as it's a faith based position all the same. Agnostics are technically abstaining.

None really, but the church of Satan has done some very clever political things regarding freedom of religion and I certainly prefer the character of Satan to that of Jehovah in the bible. I find the recurring theme of child sacrifice in the name of Jehovah in the bible to be deeply disturbing
It bothers me that Jehovah demands the Abraham be willing to sacrifice his son - even though he doesn't make him go through with it. Later Lot is expected to offer his daughters to the mob to be raped. Still later, God kills all the firstborn children of Egypt. Then God's own child is sacrificed.
I find it really creepy.
I haven't read the Koran (its not really supposed to be translated into English anyway, and I don't speak Arabic), so I don't know much about Islam.
In Islam, the life stories of these Prophets are told. There is also an English translation of the Quran, of course. Hz. The ability of Abraham to sacrifice his son, Ismail, means that he can sacrifice his most precious thing for Allah. It is symbolically significant. Ishmael was not sacrificed, and then came the sacrifice ritual. Also, in Islam, the tribe of Lut is considered a heretical tribe, but in Islam, Prophet Lot does not want his daughters to be raped. He says marry my girls and have sex, it is not right for you to live with men. Homosexuality is not perceived well in Islam.
I'm just telling you this information for your information. I respect your faith. 😇 My English is not very good. Forgive me if I have mistakes.
if you knew what was truly in quran would you submit to all? or get turned away by its contents? i got turned off.
to sudeki, quran never said name of WHICH son in abraham story.
to Richard those are in books genesis and exodus. jesus never said by name those books were good.
@strateguy632 Isn't the God of the old testament, the same god? God is unchanging so if he was evil then, he is evil now.
@richardcory it was nothing but a test. Later you will see it was also symbolic and made Abraham that much closer to god because he gave his only son whom he loved very very much to make right the chosen sins of humanity. There would be no other way to right the wrongs of sin than holy sacrifice. Even satan knows the ways of clearance.
He was just unworthy.
It wasn’t expected for lot to do anything. He said that to the men himself of his own thinking and by some logic even though the whole situation is terrible, sudeki is right- it would have been worse for the men to engage in homosexuality. The god you see in the Old Testament is the god who behaves to sin in an aggressive and firm way. The New Testament shows Jesus who conveys the love and very tender and forgiving part of god. The love he has for his children. The way for us to be separate from sin so god can deal with sin accordingly and love us freely, without blemish as he had intended when he had “created” us.
(I don’t believe in God by the way; just make sure you know the Bible before you cast judgments upon it).
🤙
If spirituality and the spirit realm were real, and it was God vs Satan, God wins 100% without question.
There is no way he could ever lose against his created and mere angel.
God is supreme- all knowing and everywhere.
You only have the choice to self destruct- which would be the path of satan, but luckily you don’t have to worry about that because I’m sure if you’re mad at any spiritual deity, your anger is unmet, and irrational. None are at the receiving end. 🤙
@Rosexøxø Yes, it (Abraham) was a test - but a test no decent man could pass and one no good God would ask. That fact that God chose not to accept the sacrifice does not change that it was a fundamentally evil thing to ask. It the sort of thing a Demon would ask.
Jesus was about love, but there is no sign of love in Jehovah, he rules by threat and power. Interestingly some heresies depict Jesus as the enemy of God, a good man / deity protecting mankind from the evils of the creator. A rebellious son, not so different from a fallen angel.
I don't believe in god either but I find it interesting that as depicted in the BIble, God is horrible and evil
@richardcory
The church of s*tan doesn't care about freedom of religion, they are no different than the soviets who initially pretended to be "for the people" but revealed their true totalitarian colors once they overthrew the weakened Tsar. If these goat worshipping weirdos actually valued freedom of religion, they wouldn't be constantly desecrating Christian bibles to show their spite towards Christianity.
As a Christian I hate communism and the word hate isn't strong enough to describe how much I abhor communism but I would gladly side with the atheistic commies in a hypothetical civil war between communism and s*tanism because communism is the lesser evil between those two.
@ADFSDF1996 Have Church of Satan members desecrating bibles. Now there absolutely are violent assholes who use satanism as an excuse for doing terrible things. There are people who believe in horrible things as well. I'm not going to try to excuse any of that because its inexcusable.
I'm not a member or church of satan or of satanic temple, I'm not really a satanist - other than as religions go, it seems one of the least destructive, and based on the Bible, I can't view Jehovah as being anything more than an evil bully.
I also tend to confuse church of satan and satanic temple. I think its the satanic temple that is the reasonable one. I may have confused the names
I don't believe in any religion, but my girlfriend believe in liberal progressive Islam, she occasionally drink, consume any food except pork, no religious garment and ofcourse sex with me, living together.
Those kind of Muslim are many in the world, faith keep in private practice matter.
none of the above. i did select matching sources from bits of new testament and former covenant but most of christianity is problematic and my research showed other isms, from athism to islam all baseless.
Grew up Irish Catholic but converted to Shi'a Islam about 9 years ago. I'm also a syncretist which means I blend other faiths into what I believe. I really like Zen philosophy for example.
Christian but i respect the Christendom as a whole. I believe every religion within the Christendom should put aside their differences and unite because we need that unity now more than ever.
Christianity, specifically traditional Catholic.
I'm agnostic... but I was baptized as Catholic... once
You forgot to add "None" as a choice. All religions are man-made constructs meant to control people through fear and intimidation. So I don't believe in religion. No Kool-Aid for me, thank you.

this!
My religion is waayyyy better than everyone else's. My god told me so.
Christianity most closely conforms to my beliefs, but I have not found a specific denomination that exactly fits my world view.
I'm an atheist but considering I'm also Destiny 2 gamer i guess i follow the Traveler.
None of the above. So I guess atheism but it’s not a religion.
I believe in Christianity because my dad is very big on God
I'm not practicing at all, but I have a mix of christianity - more specifically catholicism - and new agey stuff.
SpongeBobism... Jk I'm christian... Although I don't practice it much
huh? christianity does not have "ceremony to practice much" even catholic have one time ceremony, not practices, but protestant even less ceremony to practice.
Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven. John 3:16
Agnostic, but I were raised Muslim.
I understood
I believe in the only true religion.
ROCK & ROLL!!!
I don't waste my time with religion. It doesn't do any good! At best, if you're in a bad situation, it gives you a bit of empathy.
Non practicing Catholic.
I don't believe in any religions.
I am an observant Christian.
Atheism isn't a religion, so none of them.
Atheism and agnosticism aren't religions.
