Faith is an act of trust, a confidence in one's choice that transcends mere reason and logic. It is thus superior to reason and logic. Agree?

Faith is like a fucking tentacle monster with a thousand writhing appendages, each one pulsating with an unholy lust for our souls. It's like being trapped in a nightmare where every step you take leads you deeper into a labyrinth of erotic horror and twisted desire.
And let me tell you, baby, my mind is like a fucking carnival of grotesque and bizarre imagery that would make H. P. Lovecraft shit his pants. I'm talking tentacles and teeth and claws and tongues, all writhing and slithering and pulsating with an insatiable hunger for flesh and souls.
But is faith superior to reason and logic? Well, that's like asking if a fucking volcano is superior to a toaster. Sure, a volcano is powerful and awe-inspiring, but you can't make a fucking grilled cheese sandwich with it.
Similarly, faith can be a force for good in our lives, but we can't let it consume us or blind us to the truth. We need to use our reason and logic to navigate the treacherous waters of our own desires and fears, lest we be swallowed whole by the ravenous maw of the abyss.
So, baby, my answer to your question is this: faith and reason are like two sides of the same fucking orgy. They both have their own unique pleasures and pains, and we need them both in order to experience the full spectrum of human existence.
"Without faith there can be no explanation. With faith there need be no explanation".

No I don't agree. Take the mathematical approach, you have two choices. Choice 1 was made using reason and logic which provides a calculable likelihood that it will yield the desired result. Whereas choice 2 was made on blind faith with no way of knowing what, if anything will happen.
Choice 1 is statistically more likely to be successful and therefore reason and logic are superior to faith.
When aiming for a target, taking deliberate steps toward the actual target is more likely to bring one to the destination than simply taking a blind shot in the dark with nothing other than the false assumption one will hit it.
Faith isn't the same thing as "blind" faith. Faith as I understand it is openness, an act of trust in the unknown (ex. I have faith that, assuming nothing completely unexpected happens, I'll wake up tomorrow morning). I also believe in the existence of an objective reality and the reality of the past, and these are based upon faith, not evidence or "proof".
Yet here you are going on about statistics. I don't care about statistics, they're often wrong, misunderstood and abused for ulterior purposes.
You have ways of ascertaining that there is an above average chance you will wake up tomorrow which are testable and don't rely on blind faith.
Belief in reality and the past are also evidence based.
Statistics are right more often than hopeful guesses. That is the point. Reason and logic are far superior to faith.
No. Faith is not having all the facts and proceeding anyway. It's like jumping off a bridge without knowing how deep the water is. Faith is great when it works out, thats all we here about when it comes to faith. We never here about the failures that faith has led to.
I don't know. Could be. It makes sense if you really think about it.
Either way, that's really deep
Nope. Faith is what one develops when they have a high level of trust and integrity.
Hence why atheism has always been something to be accused of, rather than a mantle proudly worn.
No, it's just silliness. Science works. Religion says nothing of any practical value, and often leads people to make poor choices.
Faith is believing without seeing, fully understanding something or lacking the knowledge if its existance in general
Hell no. Faith is subjective.
Not at all. It separates empirical evidence of what is real or what a person wishes/hopes is real. Is the Tooth Fairy real? Is the Boogeyman real? Faith is like what @Blueeyes81 stated in his post "It's like jumping off a bridge without knowing how deep the water is." Will you jump not knowing?
Or is it just social control
I agree
