Any translation from one language to another loses some accuracy, since some of the original meaning and nuance of words is lost.
Matt Baker has an interesting video where he explains all of the English Bible translations.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/Zvre1MNat-8I like the Douay-Rheims translation, but I also refer to the Revised Standard Version (Second Catholic Edition).
names like that sound creepy why did they need to revise it?
NIV is easiest to understand and is written in modern English. You wouldn’t get much out of the Bible if you can’t understand it, so I suggest that one.
for most verses i agree with you but sometimes they have strange translations that do not match the original and often those are the ones matching known agendas for example dueteronmy 32 does not match hebrew nor context "your father" beside it. seems like they let agenda in. y. l. t. is harder to read but closer to literal like the name young literal ylt.
Where's the options for the Dandy and Beano comics?

New King Bible is the one I use.
Be extremely careful with these modern-day Bibles.
Just because it says Bible doesn't mean is the word of God.
All of these modern-day versions sound water down of God's word and omit scriptures and words from the Bible.
Seen it with my own eyes.
to his i also heard like you new king j. v.
New American Standard was taken from the original Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic.
i am influenced by the pro-kjv people but hard to read old style so nkjv
Just the regular King James Version, not NKJ is traditionally accepted as the most accurate
why do you think nkjv lost accuracy all they swapped was thee and thou for you?
I don't know, but some of them say "Thou shall not kill" instead of Thou shall not murder" which murder is the correct translation.
nice distinction i liked that
same as niv for that one murder.
King James version
