Have you ever seen God reward you for not being mean to your enemy?

My friend told me a woman was in a marriage with a man she loved and he cheated on her with a new woman and moved his cheating girlfriend into his house to live with his wife, but the wife was a religious women who refused to hate the girlfriend, she would pray for her, buy her groceries, take care of her like a sister, and eventually the girlfriend and her husband ended their relationship and the religious wife got her husband back.

Uh, that isn't a reward. That's punishment. That marriage should be done. If the woman was in need of shelter, then sure, take her in. But you don't have to fuck her. It's not charity to take someone in and expect repayment. It's sick, actually.

Some people believe in karma and God punishing people for being bad. Usually people mistake low probably events as something spiritually fullfilling. Carl Jung wrote about this extensively and coined the term synchronicity.
But, The real answer is, as i said, just low probably events.

Starving kids in Africa die every day through no fault of their own so it's unlikely there's actually a powerful, loving being out there.
