Maybe "just like" is stretching it a little bit but it is more like how Christianity is compared in some regards to Buddhism even though both are unrelated. Jesus wasn't a socialist but he wasn't a capitalist either. He seems to not think as highly about earthly success in people. There are a few parallels and the way they argue their religious points is similar.
Don't fall prey to that siren song... it's a very seductive sales pitch, but just like that woman who ripped you off at the club, you'll be inundated with sorrow and disillusion in the end.

No. Not even close. It might seem so, but if you take a more complete look, you see that Christianity and Marxism are mutually exclusive.
If you remove God from the picture, everything unravels. The purpose of Christianity is the salvation of souls, not the "economic justice" (whatever that means) or an earthly utopia. It is true that Jesus had some harsh words for some of the rich people of His day, but all things considered, He really didn't say that much about economics or political power or influence.
I could go on and on, so I should probably just stop here. I plan to write a MyTake about this very subject soon though.
