I was interested in fortune tellers for around 1-4 years in my 20s but I grew out of it once I realized I could still build my relationship with God after turning away from my faith at 21.
I notice a pattern where they will combine something positive with something malicious. They are hoping you will accept the curse in your desire to lay hold of the reward they offer you before the curse happens.
Like a fortune teller told me I would become rich without real work but I would suffer many horrible diseases and health problems in my life.
Another fortune teller said I would succeed greatly but I would struggle with cancer.
I know a guy who believed a teller that told him he would get into a car crash and later he got into a car crash.
My friend said the curse only works if you accept it and believe it. The bible says if you believe God answered your prayer and you forgive others, that God will answer your prayer.

This is a tough one. I've never thought about it like that before. There's so much to consider: evil spirits, curses that only work if you believe in them, psychic ability, psychology. I know there are things that we can't fully explain, but, wow, maybe evil spirits can affect you in this way. Again, I've never though about this before. I'm not sure I understand you fully. Are you saying the evil spirits are speaking through the tellers the way that God speaks through the righteous?
If you don't mind my asking, what made you turn away from your faith at 21 & what made you return?
When I was younger I had a similar interest but I quickly grew out of it. As an adult I can say that the sooner you accept that life is life and that whatever must happen will happen the better off you will be. There's no point in fighting life. It's important to learn to ride with life instead.
