Are we in hell?

Sometimes I feel like life is so bad that this must be hell.

And sorry if you don't believe in such things. This question is not for you obviously.

Hell is much worse. Right now we have GOD's presence of love to support us though you may not feel it. The agony felt in Hell is a direct result of the total absence of GOD.

The reason this feels like Hell is because it's actually a proving ground or training center. It's an opportunity for us to learn about ourselves and why we need GOD in every part of our lives. The difficulties you experience are allowed by GOD to help you get to know yourself. Life is a journey. Lean on HIM, have Faith, problem solve and embrace the difficulty/pain so that you grow into the person GOD created you to be.

No. This is simply the valley of tears that we call life. There is tremendous and rampant evil in the world today. Some participate in various ways in it, others suffer in various ways because of it. But this is not Hell.

Hell is the place of eternal punishment for those who die in their sins, without repentance or remorse. While we still live though, we have the choice whether to love God, cooperate with His graces, and act accordingly.
