Yeah, there's a real big anti-Western movement that has taken root in the West--primarily amongst the left wing parties it seems. It's like if you put all their policy positions together and ask "what's the unifying theme here" the simplest explanation appears to be "anti-Western sentiment."

Leftists themselves may say it's something more noble like "compassion for the dispossessed or some such." But that strikes me as unlikely as (just to take one example) there's all kinds of dumping on "toxic masculinity" when the man is Western, but nary a peep when it's someone from a different culture beating the shit out of women or gays or minorities in their own culture. Hence things like "Queers for Palestine" can only be explained by a pure anti-Western civilization philosophy.

The US may turn the corner on this (the latest elections are a positive sign, but a lot will depend on how things go), but man--the UK seems like a HOT mess!

It's not really surprising, is it?

    Generally,

If you criticise Christianity, you won't be physically threatened, assaulted or threatened with death.

    The same applies to Judaism.

But the same clearly does not apply to Islam. This would be an issue to me, and a point of contention in any debate. But no, not in any 'enlightened and empathetically' (or weak and cowardly) Western country.

Western countries are like those in domestic abuse relationships. They have no boundaries, no sense of self respect, they are being taken for fools. We won't defend our values or culture, we won't say it is wholly unacceptable to have these views in this country.

Please read about Jessica Ahlquist who received death threats after she sued her public school to remove a prominently displayed Bible verse.

This is so common that plaintiffs in such cases are routinely granted anonymity to protect them from the peaceful Christians. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jessica_Ahlquist

@slatyb they stabbed her? Does she come from a culture where a man will throw acid in your face for rejecting a marraige proposal or one where your parents will murder you for not marrying your cousin at 15 or one where they will shoot up a media outlet over a cartoon?

When I talk about this to some Americans, many of them seem to be dismissive. I keep telling them how dangerous these people can be if you don’t keep them under control. They don’t come to the west just to work. Some of them yes, but most want to dominate and conquer. Look at what happened to France, Germany, Belgium, Canada. The ones who live in the States claim to be westernised but they secretly still support the radical groups and these morons believe them. Wait until they become the majority and start showing their true color. It would be late to act by then.

You're right, but many Americans are aware, and 9/11 is still so fresh for many of us who remember that day as if it were yesterday. Conversely, the left is the problem, and they keep offering justifications for adherents of this "peaceful religion." When does enough become enough? Things will only get worse. Another thing is that a lot of Jews are now fleeing Europe all over again. I wonder why that is. Of course, news channels aren't reporting on this. I have to go to the “Jewish Chronicle” website to find this out; otherwise, I wouldn't know, and the numbers are astounding.

@RageBabe leftists hate the right so they are going to take on anyone’s side who could support their movement just to gather more people. Ironically, Muslims are right wingers too. When they come to me and question do you know all of them personally? I told them I was born in a Muslim country and know more than you who live with like only 1% of them?

I seen a recent case in America where a Muslim father upset with his daughter dating some kid and not marrying the guy they wanted and refusing to travel to Iraq for a "holiday" assaulted her boyfriend and tried to choke his daughter to death. After her father was pulled off her mother tried to take over and their other daughter was trying to keep other people from helping her sister. That's crazy stuff.

Wasn't she already released and paid because she was wrongfully charged? Ofc stabbing & death threats are never good no matter who's doing them against who, but at least when the police fucked up this one time it was actually corrected. Wish that would happen more often that people get released & paid for being fucked over by those who should "protect & serve"

    Excellent story!

Christ message has always been offensive to those that don't want to hear it. It's not easy to exercise the devil out.

This why I don't accept islam immigration in too high numbrers. They get power, you have serious culture clash. We allow freedom of religion, but they do not.

Can see some value to having muslims in UK, but you see the risk as well. they are intoerant in truth. Go against what they hold dear, and they want you dead.

I saw some highly traumatized arabic person. there are needs for care and opportunity for Christ. I pray Christ wins people over. But you do have to protect the core of your country... and it's not Islam.

I agree with @purplepoppy. She is looking for trouble.

I'm American, and I was told (many years ago, during a visit to London) that you can say pretty much anything you want at Speaker's Corner, so long as you are standing on a soapbox. All the videos show her standing on the ground, which, as this former colonist understands, is grounds to be arrested if one is causing a disturbance, which she obviously is.

This is the UK collapsing under the weight of wokeness. Trying desperately to appease people who hate you and want to vanquish you is a losing strategy.

Muslims will eventually rule the UK and the wokeys will be in cages wondering how it happened.

They arrested Hatun Tash because that was easier for the Cops, they bottled arresting the MUSLIMS who attacked her because there were more MUSLIMS there than Cops,

Every time the Cops have arrested Hatun Tash they have ended up having to pay compensation to her because the arrests were unlawful.

I left a Christian church. Made my life a living hell. I’m estranged from my parents and in laws as well as being affected professionally by people whom I work with and also attend the same church. Christians are generally closed minded so if you’re not with them, you’re against them.

Parables aren't real. In Europe apostasy was a capital crime until the early 1700's. What changed? Christianity lost political power. And don't kid yourself that it's over. Women in the US are dying from easily treatable complications of pregnancy. This is nothing more than a modern witch hunt.

@lowkanymous maybe so and it’s true, there are open minded Christians out there. I consider myself one. But the vast majority aren’t openly accepting of others or worse, they use scripture as a means of justifying overt judgement upon those who don’t appear to align with their idea of gods plan.

They’ll turn their backs on truth and chase mirages. But you—keep your eye on what you’re doing; accept the hard times along with the good; keep the Message alive; do a thorough job as God’s servant.

There’s ways to go about spreading the gospel via acceptance and love. Not yelling in a street corner in front of a bunch of radicals. Her actions however noble her intent may appear, are largely focused on making a public scene before an audience of which she was obviously not welcome. Jesus didn’t create an atmosphere of anger or division. He taught with love and wisdom.

Christian and Muslim have been around for centuries fighting each other. I’m a Christian I’ve been to many Muslim countries. It’s amazing that this day and age we can’t see past it. There is enough disbelief in God in the world. If we stop fighting each other and show respect instead we can accomplish better things.

LOL, she's a hate preacher, not a "Christian" in anything but name.

Like a Trump supporter hating everyone unless he deems them "American".

It's no wonder she is treated like the scum she is. Though she's probably mentally ill, if anything.

Jesus was the original object of anti-Christian bigotry, was he not?

Who decides that the Influencers on this site are “Influencers”? Is it Xper Level based? Or were some people cherry picked?

@travelguy01 I think so “Xper Level-based,” and that includes spending a lot of time on here.

The police in this country are ridiculous; they should make the same effort to apprehend Islamic preachers who incite hatred towards this country and all other Western countries to which they flock.
