Yes, unfortunately, I tell them to try to go over and see if they’ll fall off.
Thank You for MHO 🙏
yeah I have heard of flat earth I'm not sure about it though

As a geography graduate I'm required to. Here's the way I see it. If the earth is so round, why aren't we upside down in Antarctica and sideways in Africa? If the earth was as round as they claim, things would look like THIS to us if we were in Africa and Antarctica.

exactly like that
@kostaskouvalis
You’re very smart
I already know that, but it's always nice to get affirmation :)
@Staximus Okay, smart I agree. But "genius" is too much. I'm flattered and appreciate it, but I'm too humble to accept that title. But you guys are so sweet 🥰
I have, pretty cool theory with a lot of well versed speculation. Was a fun watch when I took the time to learn about it with an open mind. Bit unfortunate they fail to answer a question they raised in their own video which can be answered easily on a globe.
So to all the flat earthers out there, do me a favor and answer the question for once. The question is this one which should be simple for you. Which flat earth map is the real and accurate one which corresponds with real life flight times?
Not mercator! Actualy they don't make maps like a plate! I tried it was too tricky without a program.
And "flight times"? Really as if that proves anything?
Yes... I couldn't believe people still thought that (or had come to think it) the first time I encountered it. It's insanity. When people have to feel like they right about everything whether they are experts or not, they will go to great lengths to create realities that still allow them to feel right. It's a stunning lack of humility and self-perception.
*feel like they have to be right about everything...
Actually "believe it is a ball when you can't check" is more insanity, and hypocrit for those who doubt the bible but Don't doubt this , that they didn't see for THEMSELVES.
@strateguy632 Look, I'm a Christian. I don't think that believing in science and the Bible are mutually exclusive capabilities. Flat earth is straight-up, errant nonsense, peddled by people suffering from the Dunning-Kruger effect. It's a fantastic way to ensure the destruction of any possibly shred of credibility a person might have. That's my perspective on it, and I don't expect anyone subscribing to a flat earth theory to agree, of course. :)
Yes, and I also heard of hollow Earth theory:

Yeah. Lots of christians still believe it. The author of the Book of Revelation claimed to have seen the Earth from a journy to heaven, and described the earth as being flat, square, and having four angels holding back the winds. All of that is wrong, of course, and at least the author of Job's book knew the Earth was a sphere. So that just goes to show that Jesus' disciples truly were "unlearned and ignorant men".
Which is why many Christians are dumb !!!
From all bible books, revelation is the ONE , more symbolic than literal.
Unfortunately, I have. Those people are loco, as the illegal Mexican immigrants might say. There is just so much overwhelming, irrefutable evidence for the sphericity of the Earth that to think, even for a fraction of a second, that the Earth might be flat, is the very height of sheer idiocy.
Sure.
Where I grew up, the world indeed is flat. Nice, when you ride a bicycle.
Anyhow... in other places the world is quite a three-dimensional thing. I saw it.
Personally, I work on a ''Cube Earth Theory'' presently.
Interesting also- is Terry Pratchett's mixed theory that includes elephants and a turtle (of undiscovered gender).
Yes and I can't believe some people are convinced it's flat
But how are you so sure? Or is it just faith in what people agree about?
@strateguy632 Christopher Columbus
I sat on the western shore of North Manitou Island in Lake Michigan and watched a sailboat continue West toward Wisconsin, which is not visible from there. The sailboat went until only it's mast was visible over the horizon, and then until the mast was also no longer visible either. Now I have been to Wisconsin, I know it's over there. Flat farther should travel more.
It's not a theory in the scientific sense. A scientific theory is a model that matches observations. The Earth is a slightly oblate spheroid as countless observations have shown for literally thousands of years.
It is not a theory. Look how flat my back yard is.

Only idiots who should be neutered to prevent them from further polluting the gene pool believe in that.
Seriously, anyone who truly believes in that should be kicked off the edge of the Earth.
Sure, it's very popular with the MAGA crowd, along with Libertarianism, and White Supremacy, and extremist Christianity, and Sovereign Citizenship, and "owning the libs".
Nah not really, the MAGA people don't believe that nonsense but because the left so aggressive is anti speech and the right embraces your right to be wrong it can seem that way. The vast majority of the right does not believe this though and thinks its better for them to just openly state their beliefs so they can be countered.
I know, OneViewpoint, and their backwards beliefs will cause American to backslide to the 1920's.
@beefcakebradybatson No lol. Maybe the other way round against unvaccinated people. You can see the evidence online. If left wing people invade right wing platforms (Which they rarely do) they get debated. If right wing people join left wing platforms they get banned merely for being left wing. So the right tolerates the lefts existence and seeks to convert them by convincing them and is way more active in seeking out debate. The left meanwhile called me a Nazi for merely wanting to follow a right wing content creator on mastodon and banned me 5 minutes later.
@sawno The right wants progressives to genuflect to King Donald I and if we don't, we're "woke" or worse. Reminds me of my boyhood when those who opposed racial segregation were dubbed "n***er lovers." Successfully refute one of their lame "arguments" and you're a "libtard,""s**tlib" or other pejorative which has nothing to do with their or your opinion.
That’s a load of horseshit
And here I am thinking that I've pushed the last of those flat Earth believers off the edge already. :D
That's the cat's job! :-D

Yes I've heard some people still think the earth is flat which I find crazy because if you look at a picture of it from space you'll see that it's round
I haven't please enlighten me on the topic. I just thought old-school sailors told this like camping story type tales.
Yes, it exposed the hypocrisy of "skeptics" who aren't real skeptics about other stuff they didn't check!
Why would someone say it’s flat? There’s pictures of it being round.
There's also pictures of it being flat. The flat earthers would claim your pictures of the round earth are fake and computer generated or Hollywood produced. It won't convince them at all. The funny part is that there's been multiple times where flat earthers do genuine science. They came up with a method of testing the curvature with a lazer, they said they are not allowed to visit the south pole because then the phenomenon of the sun not going down would be disproven. And then they tried the lazer thing and it proved it was round. Some got a chance to go to the south pole with very well documented evidence and got proven its round. And even then their community still denies it xD. So with that level of evidence denial there is no way a simple picture will convince anyone.
@brandi555 I think Christopher Columbus was thinking about it too
You mean the Flat Earth Falsehood. There are hundreds of YouTube videos by Flat Earthers, and a bunch more by people who debunk them.
Yup. Flat Earthers are as brilliant as Creationists.
NO WAY IS IT flat at times i can see the cyrves
Curves? Hopefully not as in fat broads !!!
Even from the top of a tall tower the horizon doesn't curve like a ball, just flat around.
@strateguy632 look again notice the sails of a ship sink
Yeh that HAND DRAWN picture in the "science" book fooled me too... as a child. Never ever can you see a boat far on the horizon like that.
@beefcakebradybatson curves does not mean fat
@Kingofkings1992 In 2025,"curves" mean "fat" to some body positivity activists.
You mean the earth 🌍 isn't flat? Then why don't we fall off?
😅😂🤣
yeah, some of the went to the South Pole recently... lol
You mean the flat head theory? Only idiots believe the flat earth theory. How is every planet in the solar system going to be shaped like a ball except our planet
Yes, but I used to live in a place where the sun never set and the sun never rose depending on the time of year. That disproves most flat earth theorists.
That theory has been around for eons that the earth is flat and when you get to the end you fall off. Too bad it is not true more people should find the end.
But most people never travel far enough, not even once.
What if the real orbit pictures are "classified" and replaced with pictures like "stargate sg1 type" ball earth film clips!
Democrats believe in that. It's the only thing they believe in.
LOTS of folk believe the Earth is flat and the Lunar Landing was staged in a Hollywood studio.
Yes but I've seen pictures from nasal.
This was settled 400 years ago, mate.
Yeah, I really wanted to attend one of their conventions, but chickened out because no one wanted to go with me
Maybe you’ll be sro7nd and we can go together next time, @jennz6
They are all either crazy or stupid, or both!
Yeah, some people actually believe that the earth is flat Which is crazy to me
You seem so sure! But how did you check for yourself? Or do you @Likes2drive have FAITH someone else checked?
@strateguy632 I’m 100 % positive, I’ve seen the curvature of earth from commercial air travel , I’ve also been to different countries and even the moon crescent is different near the equator , and we have satellites around the globe and since I’m an amateur radio operator and talk to to people after sunset from radio waves bouncing
It's not a theory as it is not supported by confirmable facts.
Hard to believe but some, although only a few, still believe the earth is flat.
i've heard of it and I even attend some of their conventions. The truth is, SOME of the flat earthers are babes. We say "never stick your dick in crazy" but sometimes it's just... worth it.
*Lunacy
Fixed it for you
Yes. Easily disproven.
How do you disprove that?
Yes and it just gets funnier every time I hear it.
Sadly, there's no cure for stupidity.
No, it's a flat earth cult.
It's a disc lol 🤣📀
Yes, and it's ALL BULLSHIT!!!
Vaguely. It's rubbish
Yes... But i know its not true.
@Jjmetal but how do you know?
@strateguy632 space. The take pictures from outerspace.
Yes, I've heard about that false premise.
Yes, it’s pretty funny.
A lot of people think the earth is flat
Yeah and I think it’s laughable
I am sure everyone has
Yeah, these folk tend not to be all there.
I heard about but i see it round
It was all the rage back when..
Many times
Yes only and idiot would believe that
Yup, already been disapproved
I heard it and it is complete nonsense.
Yep and it's dumb
unfortunately
