It is important to note he has support of LGBTQ+ Catholics making it known they are welcome to the church. It makes sense he would reaffirm abortion and reaffirm marriage since The Catholic religion has that deep belief which won’t be unshaken because of tradition.

I look forward to hearing more from Pope Leo, he is new and has a lot of potential.
We shouldn’t judge until we see more. He is currently in Pope Francis’ shadow, though I’m sure he’ll have his own legacy that survives Francis.

I don’t agree with everything The Catholic Church preaches, though it is their religious practice not mine so I respect it even if it isn’t something I practice myself. I have the upmost respect for all religious followers from Muslim to Jewish to Catholic to Christian to many others. I believe in Freedom of Religion in the country Pope Leo comes from.

This is so frustrating aaahhhh! Silly word games! He sounds like he is saying the obvious... but if so why the need to "reaffirm"? actually it is not tradition... he said the SAME thing obama said leading to laws about gay weddings, "marry is man and women so same gender is called wed instead of marry."

his abortion statement is worthless due to not specified when... how many weeks of pregnancy. Most americans agree late term abortion are evil. Master of... the obvious!

He will help bring the Anti-messiah up into power soon. His work for the devil is a key part of the new world order and the end of the world, both he supports full heartedly. He is thinking he is a human with a gods power, the devil might give you power and control on this earth but when the true Messiah comes he will be sent to the pit of fire with the devil and the anti-messiah. These are all the most basic moral beliefs so I will commend him for that but I won't support him until he ditches the filioque, the universal claims of the Roman bishop, and brings the West back into communion with the Orthodox. Then I would gladly accept him as the "first among equals" of the Church.

What would you expect a Catholic to say about abortion? He's talking about abortion as a choice, not as a medical necessity, by the way. He made no comment on that.

I like what he has to say to Trump and Vance. He didn't pull any punches when it came to telling them that "either you follow the words of Christ, or you follow the words of Kings. You can't do the latter and call yourself Christian".

Yeah, I like that part.

I like his starting points! Let’s see how it goes. Millions of Hispanics are pouring into the US. They were meant to be democrat voters but their soul is worth more so they will vote pro-life. That is how I ended up fully Republican.
