Why do atheists ignore facts?

The facts are: known geniuses, einstein hawkings and more, agreed god is real and jesus is god in pictures so why do atheists ignore these geniuses and say "god is for simple minded who can't think for themselves"?

Why ignore facts and try to discredit a recognized genius, confirmed i. q. guy, in picture from a VERIFIED x account.

Just because someone is a genius in one area doesn't make them an authority on religion, which is completely different from physics, engineering, microbiology.

Scientists deal with theory and facts. God is taken on faith. There is no proof of God. There are many OPINIONs about God, Jesus and religion and religious thought. But there's no absolute proof.

You can't see God under a microscope, or have a conversation with him when he/she visits your house about religion and a discussion of, well, HIM/HER.

There are no facts about God. Just opinions. Though Jesus Christ lived 2025 years ago, there is no proof that he was God or the son of. Just belief. Belief has nothing to do with facts.

So, it doesn't matter how many geniuses are dancing around with their opinions on God and Christ, still not facts.

Popular atheism is every bit as dogmatic as any religion or organized philosophy.
They have to tell themselves foolish lies in order to keep from challenging their own narrative.
A purist would have to admit that they can’t know what they don’t know. At which point agnosticism is a more pragmatic approach to the subject. Agnosticism is fairly open minded though. People who are closed minded or otherwise naturally contentious won’t find peace of mind there.
