Is it true we all have our inner demons and darkness to fight?

Some of us fail sometimes and do questionable things, or do something that leaves a stain on our own metaphorical record.

I wonder why it's under religion & spirituality? I mean it can be, for those looking at the topic under this perspective. Then I'll add another perspective:

Psychology. Yes, I believe we all, absolutely all have some inner darkness which manifests in different ways:

Darkness could be thoughts we wish we didn't have for instance because we find them inconvenient or inappropriate or negative or anything that triggers our own inner censorship.

Darkness could be also thoughts we don't understand or recognize because we're not aware of them. They would be unnamed, untold, yet there is this weight felt.

Darkness could be contradicting thoughts clashing together, making us unable to move or take actions. Or make us wondering endlessly how to solve this contradiction.

Darkness can range from fleeting thoughts to ultra invasive ones. Under this perspective, light also comes with different things, light can be self-acceptance, light can be distinguishing thoughts and acts, light can be going deep down and give a name to what was dark before

Nothing to do with demons but yes. We are animals driven by primal senses, primal objective is not aligned with moral subjective. Therefore everyone has something considered not moral within them.

Probably most folks with standard cognitive processing do... though if you look at some people straight in the eye I swear you can see a clear through their empty skulls to a lovely mountainside...

Demons are outer, inner means you got a serious problem and are under possession but most of the time they are outer demons that influence you

I don't think "demons" was meant to reference a literal possession. It's an expression "inner demons" like a problem you're constantly dealing with... like that pain in the * sibling who will never change or someone who hurt you badly, etc. The things that build a person's negative thoughts and self-doubt...

Well a couple I know were given bracelet as a gift that I found suspicious and after noticing unusual behavior I took the bracelet to the dump, did a prayer over it and snipped it, everything went back to normal after

I'm a believer in Christ too 🙏❣️. I believe you 💯. Something similar happened to me. My advice when people ask you if they can borrow money from you never never give them money. It happens to me. I all about saving money and finances. This one lady kept asking me if she could borrow money , I felt bad because she has a young child so I let her borrow money. No kidding I started running short. Muy bills were $500 electric and water bill $300 I prayed over the money 💰 I rebuke after that it all went away my bills came in $50 and so on I was blessed in abundance by God. Weird thing after I prayed that same lady call me if she could borrow money again when she never paid it back. I prayed for the Lord to show me then I saw a video on her social media this same woman was invited people to her cook outs and stuff. Weird people with financial issues do not throw cook outs. She would never visit me or invite me to her gatherings just called when she needed cash. Later I found out her and her husband went would do some ritual over money. I learn my lesson to not allowed people to borrow money after that.
