I don't know. I used to attend Church until 2020. But it didn't feel like Church since people were not interactive with me.

Jesus is the Head of the Church, he is the church

"And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence." (Colossians 1:18)
"For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body." (Ephesians 5:23)
"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (Matthew 16:18)

      Jesus is the Rock
"And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ." (1 Corinthians 10:4)
"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church." (Matthew 16:18) – The "rock" here is understood as Christ, the solid, immovable foundation, not just Peter.
"The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust..." (Psalm 18:2)

      Jesus is the Word
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." (John 1:1-3)
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us..." (John 1:14)
Jesus is identified as the divine Word (Logos), eternal with God, creator, and incarnate Savior

Yes, in the Bible, Jesus says that he is the house of worship.

If God is that much of an afterthought to a supposedly "faithful Christian" who can't be bothered to get up early, dress nicely, and drive a few minutes to their house of worship (not that most churches these days are worth the wood they're built of anyway... but I digress) - all on only one day of the week, mind you, for only an hour or two - and in a time and place where neither life nor health nor general well-being are in danger on account of their faith, then their religion is not Christianity. It's themselves. It's convenience, it's comfort. No. Thank. You.

Jesus did not speak against brick-and-mortar churches, but rather, he shifted the understanding of "church" from a physical place to the community of believers, or the "temple of God" made of people. Key statements like Jesus telling the Samaritan woman that true worshipers would worship the Father "in the Spirit and in truth," and his own statement that he would "destroy this temple and in three days raise it up," all point to a spiritual understanding of God's presence and worship rather than a physical building.

Ex Christian here. If that is the case, then you are saying god isn't everywhere, which contradict what the Bible says.

@AviatorTom the good Lord also seemed to appreciate preaching from a grass hill - no building at all - what a humble soul - you're not wrong captain, church is where the heart is 💒

I think most people would prefer brick and mortar, unless it is difficult for them to travel or be around large groups of people for one reason or another.
