How did Noah fit all those animals and their specific diets onto the Ark?

My wife visited the Ark Experience in Ohio with her family last Friday. It even had examples of dinosaurs on the Ark. An estimated 6.5 million terrestrial (land) animal species have lived on Earth throughout history. Did God create all those at once? 6.5 million x 2 = 13 million. Did Noah fit all those on a boat? How did he collect them from all the continents and islands in the world? And what did he feed them?  .

Are you trying to argue that dudes thousands of years ago, tried to relay a story from way before them and got some facts wrong? Sad.

Of course they got some shit wrong. Floods happened back then but it wasn't world wide. You think there really were Dinosaurs walking around while humans were, because that's pretty retarded. They didn't have Kangaroos on that ship. The story originates from a place, and it was probably just farm animals and shit... your guess is as good as mine.

I look at Bible shit the same way I look at what you people call "mythology" and I take it's meaning in more than the facts in the fucking "story" people were handing down from a time before they were born. That Greek "mythology" was well before any God shit came around and funny how they have things in it that is a bit embellished. Approach that shit as a realist, but at the same time realize those were people trying to describe shit that couldn't look up what floods are on youtube.

To break down your question... I would pose my own question. 2 of what animals? For all we know it was a couple pigs, horses, chickens, and that was fucking it. His land was flooded out and his not so giant ship found a place to start again.

I mean you gonna take Aesop's fables as real? There is deep meaning behind the Tortoise and the hair... but animals don't talk bro. Figure out what they were getting wrong and what they got right.

You just reminded me of how Hollywood took that story and added a whole new level of fantastical shit to it that I never read in the Bible. You got to see past that shit. If anything is too fantastical... it probably is.

All tales from bygone eras have to be taken with the proverbial grain of salt. Tales and stories get more elaborate as time goes by. The Biblical story of Noah's Ark was actually preceded by Mesopotamian myths like the Epic of Gilgamesh, the Atrahasis epic and the Sumerian Ziusudra tale. There are similarities in Greek and Hindu tales. They all feature a man who builds a boat to save his family and animals from a divinely sent flood.

From a practical point of view, it could only have been as large a boat as the technical capabilities of the time allowed. It was probably someone wanting to save his cattle, sheeps and goats from natural disaster.

And it could never have held herbivores and carnivores in the same space.

This is an interpretation that is taking an ancient text and looking at it from a modern Lense. In the context of the time Noah's ark takes place in it's clear that it's not ALL the animals of the world in one ark. When you read the story of Noah's ark you're reading an ancient story that has been dramatized and romanticized to death. In reality if you read it in the original language in the oldest copies Noah's ark is actually in short about a famer that foresaw a large flood coming so he grabbed as many animals as possible and put them on a large raft until the flood subsided. It likely is a real story that actually happened but it wasn't a massive boat with thousands of animals from all over the word. It was a raft or boat of decent size for the time that kept Noah his family and all their livestock safe. He likely managed to build one big enough to protect a large flock and being the only survivor who was prepared he was the one that made everyone else look the fool.

the ark wasn't that big. it did hold some local animals, but the majority had found the ARK long before Noah and his ark. all of the modern animals descended from the couples that migrated to ARKansas. see! now you get it.

dude you're too old to be obsessing over trying to "debunk" the Bible

the Bible was never meant to be used as a science or history textbook

it's a collection of stories meant to teach a lesson on morality and the consequences for those who choose to follow or not

the whole story of Noah's Ark is meant to allude to fall of civilizations that reject objective morality and ethics and it's gradual replacement back to some semblance of order over chaos

The Great Flood is in many ways is like to The Great Replacement

and because history is written by the winners, those who have done the replacing would be the ones to bring order to the chaos whoever they may be

The whole Noah's Ark and the Great Flood is an adulterated version of something that was done by the Anunnaki who wanted to wipe out mankind because it had outlived it's use = labour workforce.

But one of the Anunnaki took pity and told the character of Noah to take onboard as many species as he could to save them. So it was not ALL the species that existed at the time. Just whatever they could manage to save. The rest of the species most likely were wiped out in the flood.

Also, there is alternate speculations that the Ark was not a boat shaped structure and rather a disc/ saucer shaped vehicle. However there is some archeological find or a fossil somewhere in or around Iraq that is shaped like a boat, which is thought to be Noah's Ark. But not enough evidence to be conclusive.
