For those of you that believe in Noah's ark story how do you defend your position on how did the animals eat, used the bathroom etc?

Keep in mind the whole event lasted one full year inside a ship.

And to non believers what possible if any you can come up with a way that was possible?

* I'll give my opinion on why Noah's ark is real and how all those animals inside the ark survived in a update.

For those of you that believe in Noahs ark story how do you defend your position on how did the animals eat, used the bathroom etc?

So I am not defending a position, but I believe there was a massive flood. I believe someone probably built a boat or had a boat, and I believe the guy could be named Noah. I believe as far as Noah, having animals of every kind on the boat could be true. Assuming that Noah knowledge of the world would be very limited. I am sure Noah would not of known about animals in North/South America or China... but every type of animal he did have as far as his own live stock could of been on the boat. Could been goats, cows a few pigs... two of everything. You get me?

Lastly scientist estimate that around 5000 BC, the time of Noah there was huge glacier melt from the last ice age happening... so around about 10,000 years ago the ice age ended, all the ice that covered have of Europe, North American and Asia stopped advancing and slowing started receding. Over the course of the next 5000 years ocean levels increasingly were rising. Weather patterns started to change for long periods of rain fall were not of uncommon. Noah living in the Tigris and Euphrates River Valley could of experienced many flood events in his life time. It believable that he built some type of Dooms Day Boat? Yes, it is possible even in our time you see people with fall out shelters in there own back yards, preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse.

The Atlantic Ocean started to fill the Mediterranean Sea from the Atlantic Ocean. As the water from the Atlantic filled the Med, it linked in with the Aegean Sea and changed that from a fresh water lake to a salt water sea. So by the time of Noah all the glaciers were in full retreat the Black Sea was filled to capacity and then a massive rain storm comes, and the Bosporus Strait busted open and the fresh water in the Black Sea floods into the Aegean Sea and increases water level of the Med by 500 feet and then surges back on it self and the salt water from the Mediterranean flooded back into the Black Sea and changed it from a fresh water lake to a salt water Sea. So this all really happened roughly during the time of Noah and scientist have proved it.

So the issue with all this is that Noah was not in the Mediterranean, Black or Aegean Sea Basins... he was in Mesopotamia, and ended up on Mount Ararat (depicted below), so legend says. So nobody really knows where Noah ended up or is from... but all it means it that Noah could of been alive and in close proximity to the catastrophic flood incident linking the Black Sea to the Med. So he easily could of experienced the same massive flooding event and survived on a boat.

It doesn't say every fish, plant, or fungus. It says nothing about animals being full adults or elders. Teen dinosaurs would be much smaller than elders. Most being no larger than a goat.

Factor in baraminology, and there'd be significantly less speciation to account for.

Ship engineering with wood was also done to much higher standards than what's used for ship joint assembly of most modern wooden vessels, with superior wood and pitch tar material. More nutrients in plant matter back then too, compared with the schlock vegetable crops of today.

Add every detail together, and you'd need a fleet of 50 Arks to accomplish today what Noah could do with only one. That, or you'd need 25 modern cruise ships. Disney's would be a good start. Mickey Mouse would have to be thrown overboard, along with all the woke teachers. Otherwise, that's how you'd repeat Noah's Ark.

No one is gonna want to steal a Disney cruise ship to evade a second global flood, however.

More to that, Earth's ringwoodite was pushed far deeper underground than it used to be. The Subterranean Ocean is not going to be unlocked at surface level so easily this time. So a deluge-inflicting dinosaur killer asteroid isn't likely to drown us today like it did Noah's day. It'd more likely just cook us.

And there's no shortage of rocks up there that God can throw at us whenever he wants to. He just chooses to make most of them miss.

I try not to take too many stories from the old testament literally. You have to remember we're talking about ancient man.

There's solid evidence proving that the black sea was a freshwater inland sea. And at end of the last ice age as a lot of water that had been previously locked up in ice was returned to the ocean through melting glacier sea levels rose. Well there's a theory suggested that the Bosphorus straight and the Dardenelles was built by a natural earthen damn being broken by the rising of the Agean sea flooding into the black sea and causing dramaticsea rise in the black sea area. Again since we're talking about ancient man he has no clue about the enormity of the world and to localized people I'm sure it would seem like the whole world was flooding as thier communities surrounding the get swallowed up. Then is gets passed down generation to generation as the great flood. Also when you look at ancient man. It gives him reason for the existence of the earth being 70% water covered.

This is evident as virtually every culture around the globe has some version of a great flood story. Some took refuge in a ark. Some take refuge in a large gord.

I’ve thought about this and one thing that stands out to me is all things are possible with God. Even the seemingly impossible. Either he gave Noah’s family extra power with his spirit or all the animals went to sleep. He gave Elijah extra power with his spirit so he could run super fast

I was taught that the ark was at sea for 40 days and 40 nights, not one year. Sanitation services could handle that... just dump things overboard. And if you believe in the religious significance of the ark, then God would have provided food for Noah, his family, and the animals.

Those were times when people were worthy of receiving some of God’s power. Either you have rabies or the animals were blessed in some kind of way that enabled them to not need to do those. that's the thing you see, the jews burned a candle for one day but it lasted 7 days. the christians didn't have enough food for every type of animal for a year but it did last a year. our miracles are way better than their miracles.

I look at the ark as a floating Barn. I do believe that God ease their pains of hunger. But when the animals defecated they shoveled the manure hatches through the floor.

If you read and translate the Bible from Hebrew you'll notice it doesn't actually say globe. It mentions only the Hebrew lands are flooding and only to take either their animals or the native animals.
