Did God know that he was going to have to murder nearly every living thing on the planet with Noah's flood?

If he didn't know, then he isn't omniscient. If he did know, then why didn't he just skip all the preliminary BS and jump to the flood or even afterwards? Why not save everyone that he had to murder in the flood?

Of course He knew. That is why He had Noah build the ark, 40 years before the flood. He also said that He would never destroy the Earth again by water. Next time it would be by fire. And to show He was good for His word He created rainbows so that every time you saw one people would be aware of His covenant with men.,

He didn't "murder" them. He judged them because of their wickedness. They were like this- and worse.
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: Men will be like in the days of Noah when God judged them for their sin. If He did not spare men from judgement then, He won't us. As I have heard said, "If God does not judge men for their sins in the Last Days, then He will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah." So men today who are executed for their wicked crimes are being murdered? I don't think so. In fact I'm surprised that more aren't executed seeing how heinous some of their crimes have been.

So he judged them for doing what he KNEW that they were going to do even BEFORE he created them EXACTLY as he wanted. So why go through all that BS in the first place? Why not skip all that and simply jump forward until after the flood?

So God sent the floodwaters as a judgment, a block in the way of humanity’s wickedness that rose out of the grief of his heart. In the ark, God carries Noah’s family through the flood unharmed to start afresh in a world returned to innocence. It is a new beginning and a chance to have a different end. How does the flood reflect the goodness of God when he sent such disaster on the earth?

The story of the flood is one of God taking merciful action to restrain humanity’s ever-increasing evil. Genesis tells us that God saw that “every intention of the thoughts of man’s heart was only evil continually” In the Bible, context means everything. Genesis firmly anchors the meaning of the flood in the context of God’s intervention to stop humanity’s headlong slide into evil.

All of the Bible is a unified story that points to Jesus, and the story of the flood is no exception.

Noah becomes a paradigm for the kind of leader we are awaiting—the righteous one in a wicked age who enters the waters of death and comes out the other side into a new creation, bringing about a new covenant of peace and life.

The people were warned over and over, but still chose their fate. That is called "freedom of choice" they chose to piss their freedom up a wall, and paid the price for that misuse.

The lesson being some people are assholes. They will die like lemmings as a result of their poor choice. Regardless of what you do for them, and to them, they will not change.
