The Lord says don't loudly proclaim what you have given like the Pharisees do, so they can be noticed. Instead, give in secret as between you and the Lord. And he will repay you 10 fold.

If you look in the New Testament, giving 10% is no longer required. That was in Old Testament days where people were required to give 10% of their gains, like their flock of sheep or grain from their fields. God doesn't really need our money. He lets you decide what to give. You should give from your heart, not what someone suggests you give.
