Is my hatred for bibles justified?

My mother used to always use the bible to correct. She focused so much on religion and how the words of god are in the bible.

Over the years, my hatred towards the bible and religion intensified. I think if you have to rely on what a bible says to raise your child (use religion as the excuse), you suck. As an adult, I'm not that close to my mother. I consider her a fanatic. Is my hatred justified. I've always viewed the bible and religion contradicting. I'd rather have no religion at all.

I found other things hypocritical. I hate religion. I hate the bible.

She can screw herself with her religion. I dislike that my father did nothing. He never laid a finger on me as he believed it was the mother's job to correct her child. He still gets himself get controlled by her in other ways.
