Well the goal is after everyone joins MY caliphate we can have peace... it is not a lie. The problem is before that.

So, according to the link, Muslims do believe in Jesus' resurrection. Just not that Jesus is God, but just another prophet similar to Mohammed. Only that Jesus will carry out the will of God, but will follow Mohammed? Still confused.

Assuming for a second both Mohammed and Jesus are equals, men and prophets, in what world would a person choose to follow Mohammed, who is not carrying out the will of God, but instead is just "telling it like it is"?

Well I personally think it’s more about certain governments hijacking a religion and using it to cause violence in order to push a political agenda. And it happened with many religions throughout history. Not just Islam.
