I think Islam is a very peaceful religion and Isis don't represent the real Islam.

It defines "peace" very differently from how the Western world defines it.

The modern, western world has this idea of peace in which nobody has to compromise anything, but in which everyone can still get along.

The complete embrace of Kinsey's lies, and the absolutely endless assaults on the Church and others in the name of "gay" "rights" - further made telltale by how many are griping about common sense bathroom bills - proves that some ideas are simply impossible to get along. Their mere existence poses an existential threat to other ideologies.

Islam is all about whether or not Jesus was God or man, as well as whether or not Timothy was right to blame Adam for the Fall instead of Eve, and for what reasons.

The idea that one's desires trump one's calling in life is at the heart of Humanism - has been since the Serpent first lied by saying: "Your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods yourselves."

That is also the heart of the LGBT Brownshirt/Rainbowshirt movement. And the heart of Islam, as evidenced by ISIS and it's emphasis on male hedonism at all costs.

Because these movements of the latter camp, that say Volition Dilemma is of greater importance than Vocational Destiny (as did Nietzsche and Heidegger), have this as their central serious defect; the Church is one of the few forces that, by merely existing, is an existential threat to said movements. So they cannot tolerate it having influence anywhere.

No matter how much land the others have, if the Church has any, it has too much. Thus, invasion and war of ideas become inevitable.

Islam cannot have nations exist where women are treated equal to men. Islam finds that emasculating. But they don't go to those lands to assimilate. They go to displace. Displacement via refugee fraud. Like Muhammad himself did to conquer Medina.

They call Allah (Allilah, the Bloodthirsty Pirate Moon god), the "Great Deceiver." Interestingly, that's how the Bible refers to Satan.

Which is why groups like ISIS and the Templars (no matter what alphabet soup they call themselves tomorrow) cannot let anyone else live in peace without paying tribute to them. Without totalitarian power, their positions are indefensible. Hence, you have jihad against Coptics with livers being eaten, and you have gay jihad against American bakers because they won't endorse a category violation.

You clueless people defend a religion whose holiest man, the person the Koran says, more than a dozen times, is the best man who ever lived and that he should be emulated in every way, led personal war campaigns on civilian caravans, ordered his followers to volunteer to murder a blind man who mocked him, and had a fire built on a man's chest to torture from him the location of buried silver.

If we are to judge a faith based on the holiest person it in, the person who exemplifies all its best qualities, then it is fair to measure Islam by Muhammad, and Muhammad was a violent, cruel, evil man. Islam is a violent, cruel, evil religion.
Do you know the NUMBER ONE reason why someone who was Muslim LEAVES the religion of Islam? In their desire to argue that their faith does not teach violence, they make the choice to read through their books, in order to better argue against people like me who hate the religion they belong to (NOTE: I hate the RELIGION, not the PEOPLE WHO FOLLOW THE RELIGION), and when they read their books, they are terrified what they uncover, and they abandon their faith.

The people who are the loudest, the most vocal, about defending Islam?
White non-Muslim liberals who know fucking nothing about Islam, and are just trying to show off to everyone else how tolerant they are and how much they stand up for brown-skinned non-Christian people who (they assume) are only targeted for their skin color, and could not POSSIBLY be targeted because of the stone age murder cult they are a part of.

if it were, then terrorism wouldn't exist. i believe elements of the religion are peaceful, but others certainly are not, and since I've studied religion, i've had to examine islam's religious book [the Quran] to spot the very verses that condone violence and the contracting ones that dont.

what i need to highlight however is that this can also be spotted in the bible, yet the difference is that the old testament is focused on law, and the rules of the old testament were incredibly stringent for a number of reasons which i won't go into, while the new testament is focused on the salvation, a renewal of these laws in order to be saved. islam doesn't contain such reasoning in its holy book.

ask anyone who is uneducated about islam and they'll tell u it's messed up. no islam is not messed up, but some of its ideas are, which leads to some of their people being brainwashed. I'm so open and accepting of islamic people, but obviously only the ones who wish to live in peace and coexist, rather than create divisions and try to kill us all.

I think it depends on how an individual of that religion interprets it. The Quran, like the Bible and other religious texts, contain both positive/peaceful messages along with negative/violent messages.
Someone who is a member of Islam might follow the positive aspects of it and lead a peaceful life, and someone who is a member of Islam might follow the negative aspects and hurt others, like Isis. Someone who is Christian may use the Bible and promote messages like "love thy neighbor" and "Jesus loves you" or a Christian might use their religion to promote hate and yell "your'e going to hell!" or be like the Westboro Baptist Church. I think it all depends on the individual.

Do I think that Islam is a peaceful religion? No. The Quran promotes the killing of individuals who do not ascribe to your religion. It also promises lands of milk of honey and virgin boys to those who martyr themselves for the cause. It talks about beating wives into submission. I could go on, but I won't. It seems unfathomable to me that followers can ignore the unacceptable parts of your religion.

-massacred more Iraqis on a single day in June, 2014 (1566) than the number of criminals executed by America in the last 40 years (1423).

-slaughter more people everyday than were killed during the entire Salem Witch Trials (12).

-Islam has caused the murder 700 million people and counting, more than Christians, Hitler, Stalin and Mao combined.

Are all Muslims like this? obviously not but we still need to take the threat seriously while also taking care not to cause undue harm on the good people found among the Islam religion.

I think constantly warring amongst themselves for centuries supercedes the rest. Not all Muslims are violent. But the religion is "peace" by way of war. Which is inherently not peaceful. So no, not a religion of peace because you can't have peace without submitting.

Ultimately, there are no religions of peace, because the only alternative to rationality is violence.

That said, only the politically correct would claim that all religions are in practice equally violent. Islam started as a way to make the arabs more and more radicalized in order to fight against the byzantines and it actually worked out quite well for them they took control of a rich land (egypt) and the rest of the north africa radicalizing more and more people, but what remained was Europe to be radicalized and because the byzantines would not let some stinky arab pigs to get into Europe they said ok we are going to invade Europe though spain and so they did but they forgot that charlemagne was there to stop them and until this day the reason why people gets killed in middle east is this radical religion which was made in order to give the arabs some reason to fight

No, but if you were to look at it with the wrong approach, neither is Christianity. Its the culture within the religion that dictates behaviour, not really the religion itself.

If you read the texts, the texts enjoin killing unbelievers many many times, enslaving them numerous times, charging them extra fo4 not being Muslim several times. More than any orher religion it advocates killing and warfare.

Its like a constitution at a given point of time for a given set of people.
The American constitution asks its countrymen to protect its territory, sovereignity and its people by neutralizing any external threat.
Does that make American consitution an instrument of peace or violence?
