Maybe but not in the shape religions depict gods. Some more developed race visited earth a dozen millennia ago. Some stone works we could even create today are evidence for that. For humans in this time they were gods. If we appear in on some planet with primitive population with further developed technology, I'm sure we will be considered gods there.

Same with god. Everyone believes in god. We just have a different understanding of it. Some people believe that physics are god (aka the source of everything that exists). ㅤ

Others believe that mind existed before matter existed.

Also philosphy proved god is real several ways. Even the most extreme doubter des cartes proved god is as certain as "odd numbers are odd". Logic proved a spirit god as a necessity.

... If the universe started expanding it needs someone to start it. And in a miracle way, same as we see the sun stays together despite "continued expansion" and sun energy did push gasses out they all fall back... so same and more so a more dense "all mass together" unless a miracle happened. Or maybe the big bang is a wrong guess about prehistory and should not have been called science.

So, here’s the question everyone always asks: if God exists, why doesn’t He step in when there’s evil? Why is the world such a mess? Why do some people have good lives while in places like the Middle East life is terrible? You might say, “Well, maybe it’s free will,” and sure, that makes sense, but all this suffering still doesn’t feel logic...
