Why did God kill Jesus (a righteous person) whereas instead He should have killed Satan?

Because that kill event was a sacrifice, so only a pure sacrifice. So God kill Jesus , a righteous person. But satan would be a bad sacrifice. Later god will put satan in the lake of fire after satan did his purpose.
About killing frends, god raised him from death.
But the bible says no one shall be sacrificed for the sins of others
The primary crux of Christianity is that we must choose God. Undying loyalty and love for Him was his failure in creating the angels. If God eliminates his primary competition for his love, then there is no choice to be made.
The entire premise falls apart more so without the “evil” that balances the “good”. In as much as the Bible is meant to be a tool for teaching people how the world works and the best way to move through it, it’s all but useless in a world without wickedness. It already feels like a copout to say “God works in mysterious ways” as often as we do. That would be endless without the concept of a single source of all wickedness and distraction from God on whom to blame everything else.

It wasn't God who killed Jesus. It was the local Jewish establishment who arranged it by using the Roman establishment.
In fact - according to my ('our') belief, Jesus only lost his body, but did not cease to exist.
To leave Satan on the scene was a smart move - it helps to get rid of unworthy fellow humans on the long run.
To 'die' early gives us more time to be dead - where 'dead' is not necessarily the same as 'gone'.
But according to the Christian belief, Jesus died for us humans so that even though we sin, we shall abide in heaven after death, just because Jesus died for us
That's the ticket. But we still need to board the train
But the bible explicitly states that no man shall die for the sins of others
Firstly: the bible is a selection of texts (written down by humans) that people of their time found to be convenient. Inconvenient ones were ignored (how many of us know the gospel of Judas, for example?) Anyhow - Jesus has a 'special' status, I think. He was/is on a mission that cannot be compared with an average person's life.
Lol, you should wait until you finish high school next year, before asking such questions.
Not sure which Youtube video you got your education from, but you should unsubscribe from that channel as you've failed the assignment.
We just need to hope you get better teachers to teach you the meaning of words, and events.
Seems like your wife left you, at a very young age and you still haven't gotten over that! 🤣
According to Christian tradition, someone had to atone for the Original Sin that Adam and Eve committed in the Garden of Eden. Christ, the Son of God, dying on the cross, accomplished that.
Deuteronomy 24:16
[16]The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
Ezekiel 18:20
[20]The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Jeremiah 31:30
[30]But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
2 Kings 14:6
[6]But the children of the murderers he slew not: according unto that which is written in the book of the law of Moses, wherein the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children be put to death for the fathers; but every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
