Does going to heaven remove man's propensity to sin?

I'm just curious about this because I was taught man's expulsion from Eden was an act of mercy from God. Because Eden not only contained the tree of knowledge but also the tree of life. We could've lived forever in the garden but after we ate of the tree of knowledge we now had knowledge of sin. So God removed us from the garden because he did not want us to have eternity with sin.

This suggests that when we go to heaven we leave sin behind. Well, how do you think that happens? Do you think God wipes away all previous knowledge? Because otherwise how do we become a sinless being? God created us with free will and it's in man's nature to sin.

Yes. The Bible is clear no wicked thing that defiles or causes an abomination shall enter the holy city and the new earth to come.

The sinful flesh will be done away with and we will inherit a new glorified bodies and Satan will be in the lake of fire so sin and evil will never again be a thing.

Revelation 21:22-27

The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it.

The Lamb is its light. And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.

Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there).

And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.

Knowing that a heaven exists it probably does provide an incentive to dissuade people from sinning.
