How can I share my Wiccan beliefs with my daughter without pressuring her?

Beltane was yesterday, so I did most of my Beltane celebrations like I normally do. Well I was doing that I was also juggling being a new mom. Which I think I am acing by the way! (not to brag lol) Anyway It got me thinking Should I introduce my daughter to the craft.

I'm Wiccan, and my husband is an atheist. I was raised by pretty hard core Christians. So I don't want to do that to my daughter. I want her to make her own faith choices and not feel pressured, but my craft is very important to me and I'd like to share it with her. Especially since she's a girl, most other religions focus just om a a man, but Wicca has a divine masculine and divine feminine.

My husband thinks that I should just do my witch thing and if she has questions she'll ask. Which sounds good, he's always so calm and has easy answers. All of this is making me think of Kiki's Delivery Service XD

What we do with our kids is tell them to do their own research if there is something they are curious about even religion. They can ask us questions too, but we don't try to push our own beliefs (my partners and I are agnostic).

Our son is an atheist and our daughter started off believing in Christianity after being exposed to it by her cousin, but now she is big into Greek mythology.

We don't mind what they choose to believe in as long as they are respectful of others beliefs and as long as what they dont believe in.

I say just do what you do for yourself, ask if she would like to see what you are doing and answer questions she may have. If she doesn't seem interested, then don't push. Religion is not meant to be forced on someone. It's a personal journey for each person to decide what is right for them.

Just introduce it slowly and don't add pressure, just let her get curious on her own.

I'm a devout Atheist like your husband. At least Wiccan beliefs seem a lot less harmful than forcing the toxic Christianity practiced here in the USA on your daughter. But I have to admit, I have almost zero understanding of Wicca. I know it was "invented" in the 1920's and popularized in the 1950's by a guy named Gerald Gardner. It is centered around nature and the core mantra is "do no harm". It's decentralized, which is good. But other than that, I have no idea what you "Witches" actually do or believe.

I don't really care if it's belief in bullshit deities as long as you're not ramming those beliefs down everyone else's throats and trying to subvert the US government to become a state government. If it's peaceful and helps you stay sane in an insane world, go for it. Expose your kid to it as she grows and let her make her own choices.

Hint... people generally rebel against religion when it becomes oppressive and controlling and therefore makes no sense to them.

Fuck Christianity... Christianity the religion of hypocrites preaching bible verses yet bullying others preaching bible verses but turns away those who are homeless or in need of food preaches bible verses but stares at overdosed people laying face first on the ground instead of calling 911 or an ambulance and helping. Fuck Christianity anything that has to do with the religion of hypocrites count me out. They preach about God and Jesus and everything else while doing the exact opposite of what they preach. Then you have people coughing and sneezing in their dirty hands and expect to shake your hand and catch all their germs. Well ask her for consent. That's pretty much all there is to it. And may I suggest: don't sell it as "truth of the world" or "something she should do". Sell it as "your quirk that you like" and also make her aware of the social consequences of this choice of yours.

lol nooooo, my baby was in the room for a good chunk of it. I made a flower crown, decorated my alter. Meditated and connected to Beltane, cooked some special stuff for dinner and lit a bonfire. I wanted to do a Maypole, but I had no one to do it with and I just didn't have the time or anyone to watch my daughter.

And I've never had an Orgy let alone one associated with my craft. As for the Skyclad thing I only did that back when I was in a coven at college
