The problem i find with this is life is not static. So if a person starts off poor, builds a fortune, and then dies with a fortune is that person first or are they last in heaven then? And don't just say "they're last." Because maybe they were very charitible and still maintained a fortune in spite of that. Since they were last on earth when they were young and then first on Earth when they were older. Does that mean they start off first in heaven and eventually become last? Since heaven is eternity how would that even work?
I feel like if i ask my pastor this he's just going to tell me to go away.🤣

The Lord is making a point that often christians throughout history have been persecuted and killed and those saved in heaven will inherently glory therefore they will be first.
Those that seemingly had it all but not christians and refused the gospel will end up in hell thus last.
