People who follow religious laws properly, tend to be upstanding and honest people who will be diligent in their work and lesure.

This gives them a leg up in saving and spending, as well as reduces their outgoings on frivolous shit that others waste money on.

Success and wealth are not "secrets" they are known pathways. The problem most people have is that they want to show off and be petty, instead of concentrate on themselves and what will improve their outlook.

If anything, it's the character and ideals that said beliefs ought to instill in adherents, and not the beliefs themselves.

That is, assuming said adherents fully subscribe to, understand, and act on what they're taught.
