Is there a higher number of very very very rich people in religious societies?

I did my university degree twice. The first time I dropped out and then returned years later with a new major, both at the same school.

I remember during my first attempt at a degree, there were so many millionaires in the Christian fellowship. One guy hosted the entire group of 70 Christians at his cottage for an over night religious event and his cottage was the size of 60 middle class homes and he had a gigantic backyard and landscape area - the size of maybe 3 or 8 farm lands, by a lake. That guy was rich. Another guy had 20 exotic pets in his home along with a pond and a mansion. Another girl lived in a mansion that was 30 times the size of a middle class home and hosted the whole church family at her house for an event. Another girl donated enough money to buy a van to each of the Christian fellowship spiritual retreats we hosted, and her family had 3 kids, and spent equally on all 3 kids. I also know two girls who had big mansions cause they hosted all 80 fellowship members at their homes for Christmas events with the church group. And these parents would buy SUV vans for their 18 year old kids to attend school even though they lived walking distance from the school.

There is always an elite. When a culture is new, it tends to be strongly religious and the distribution of wealth tends to be concentrated among a warrior class. Think the West around 1000-1200. As the culture matures the wealth of the people begins to grow generally. Think of the baroque period. The people are still highly religious. When the culture reaches its technological zenith and maximal power, like the West after WW2, there are many affluent people. However, the culture is at this point much less religious and because a form of finance rises that has the effect of concentrating wealth into fewer and fewer hands, and these elites are likely to be highly irreligious. So how wealth is distributed, to whom it is distributed, and to what degree is much more a matter of where a high culture is in its lifecycle than the degree of religiosity.

In Christianity and Catholicism definitely, in other religions depends. But not all.

Yeah. Look into freemasonry & the other groups that are a part of illuminati. These people can be any religion and be a part of these organizations. They have secret codes and are often promoted by each other & given business deals and connections that they otherwise wouldn't be.

No. While the middle east is predominantly Muslim. It's also very poor. The leadership tends to be rich but other than that, it's pretty poor
