Do you genuinely feel compassion for people with disabilities?

Today I asked a security guard if there were any McDonald’s restaurants near by so I could fill up on water and take a washroom break before my 1-2 hour trip back to our sleeping quarters and based on the way the security guard responded to me, it was obvious to me he was brain damaged and possibly mentally ill as well.

A white bystander saw that the security guard was disabled and immediately engaged him in friendly conversation while waiting for her family to finish paying the cashier for their merchandise. I think it is common in religious culture to show compassion for people with limitations, I have seen the same compassion from Muslims.
