I got into perfumes at a young age, I loved trying different notes, explored all olfactory families, decided which ones were my favourites! and even though I have a signature scent, I always enjoy testing new releases, recognising scents and individual notes, appreciate the overall scent and how I feel about it on me or on others, I always get compliments on perfumes I’m wearing and get asked what I’m wearing atm…

I find it sad and annoying how most boutique separate men and women perfumes with men’s section being a shelf or 2, and a repeat of the same notes; even though I love certain perfumes marketed for men I use them often and also get many compliments on them no one thinks they’re men’s perfume on me …

Also when travelling I always look for the best local brand to try, and I noticed that many Middle East countries don’t gender label their scents instead they separate by olfactive families, and that a lot of men aren’t as sensitive to gender labels on western brands hence if they like it they’d use it!

Anyways gender and age labels never made sense to me neither, with this said I always ignored labels such as “for her/him/ mature ….) I find those to be personal opinions that shouldn’t affect everyone!

I also love pretty bottle designs, but that doesn’t always mean you’d love the perfume just because you love the design and vice versa …

The photos show a thrift shop in a Welsh town that's seen better days. As you can see the owner is hedging his bets by selling all British flags. There's even some nice intertwined Union Jacks and Irish bunting , which I'm sure sell well.

In the news recently, there have been stories of very wealthy Americans refugees moving en masse to the UK seeking safety from the current situation.

Now it's got me thinking. Americans love to fly the flag on their homes. But is it OK to do that when living in another country? Or does it risk drawing negative attention?

I know I've mocked the overdone manis in a previous question, but I'd love for guys to weigh in on how important you consider a gal's manicure to be?

To me, I've never wanted a guy to look at or hold my hand and see a sloppy mani or broken nails... I don't like to look like I just tried to claw my way out of a ditch, you know?

So how important is a good mani to you? What does it tell you about a gal? (Also, pick a type.)
