I am turning 28 in a few months, of course nearing my 30s, and I never had a real girlfriend before. I had some online things, but they all rejected me upon meeting in person for the first time. Meanwhile, I have watched all my former friends form serious relationships, get married, and most of them have kids now.

I am not the most attractive guy physically. I am short and overweight I admit. I am also "weird" to a lot of people. I am on the Autistic Spectrum and have mental health issues too.

But this one guy he stayed as my friend for more than half a decade after a year I realized that he want me to give him head. But we were doing this discreetly apart for my beard room every where else we usually act normal and this has gone on for more than half a decade and then one day he got married to a girl and stoped talking to me and won't even talk to me about anything normal and don't even want to run into me.

It's like he regret doing that with me.

It's obvious that he used me, but what I can't comprehend is that can some one pretend for more that half a decade like they cared about you because he never outed me as I am blowing himOr you think he was talking behind my back but no one told meHe is just afraid as he is married to a women now.

I turn 28 later this year as I inch very close to hitting my 30s. I have missed a lot of major developmental milestones in my youth, and I feel like I am reaping it today.

I have never had a real girlfriend or been in an actual relationship. I have only had sex with one woman only one time during a weekend fling. She was 16; I was 20. I felt like I had to sell my soul to get this opportunity. She was also a virgin too supposedly. I never actually "made love" to a woman before.

Meanwhile, I am watching the vast majority of my peers growing up get married, have kids, and/or both.

I have a very bad track record. I have been unable to maintain stable employment. I never held a job for more than a year. My mental health sucks. I also have a criminal record now (stalking and harassment). I am socially inept.

In terms of socio-emotional development, I am very behind and immature for my age. I feel I haven't "fulfilled" my youth to move on to the next stages in life.

I used to dismiss this idea but have increasingly come to realize its merit, and I now believe it explains a lot of the problems we see today in dating and gender relations, and why so many men no longer want to get married or commit. The changes we see in women today compared to the past, the risks to men of marriage, the fact it offers fewer benefits to men now, and the fact that casual sex is so easily available, all have conspired to create a situation where men are taking their gatekeeper responsibilities much more seriously than women are theirs.
