I couldn't find a good representation picture for option B, but just imagine the girl from option A has jeans covering up her legs, instead of them being bare as they are.

The reason I'm asking this is because jeans/pants underneath a dress has become a trend among-st my female friends who live in my neighborhood.

I live in Florida, whereas it's hot as fuck, and it's hard to get anywhere without sweating... and as such, people wear shorts, and when women wear dresses, they're usually fairly short like the blonde girl's in the photo. Way above the knee, but modest enough to cover the bum very well. Just about that length.

And recently my female neighbor friends decided that their dresses were a bit too short to wear bare legged, and that they feel slightly self conscious... despite the fact that they ALWAYS wore their dresses bare legged much before with no problem. And as such, they started wearing jeans/pants along with their dresses.

And in my honest opinion... it just looks BAD.

Those dresses were made to be worn bare legged in hot weather, and when you pair them with jeans... well it just doesn't look right. The dress just ends up looking like an extremely oversized shirt, rather than an actual dress. It's supposed to be worn on IT'S OWN!

The worst thing about it is that my girlfriend was also sucked into it, and she refuses to ever bear her legs in an above the knee dress again. 🙄🙄🙄

Maybe I'm kind of exaggerating, and this whole trend isn't so bad, and maybe even better than bare legs in a dress after all. Maybe I got so used to seeing bare legs I forgot how immodest they were... who knows. Let's just see what most people say about this topic. Maybe jeans under dresses really IS ridiculous, maybe it's not.

Shorts... in hot places, especially during the summer, both girls and guys alike wear them all the time. Shorts are one of the few gender neutral clothing items, alongside regular long pants.

However, me personally, I could never decide whether I found girl legs or guy legs more attractive. I'm bisexual, so that's probably why, heh.

I really like how girl legs are more smooth and soft... even a girl with hairy legs is still much softer than a guy. Girl legs are also slightly more round and squishy around the thighs, with a bit more meat. However, I also like the tougher texture of guy legs just as much. And if guys had just as much meat on their thighs as girls it wouldn't seem right, so I like that. Plus, some guys make it up with a bit of muscle! Not too much, though.

To me, the best part of girl legs is the thighs... while the best part of guy legs is the knees. Hence, why girl shorts are often so short, while guy shorts are often much longer. It seems fashion agrees with me, heh. Girl shorts are meant to accentuate the thighs, while guy shorts are meant to accentuate the knees. The example photos I put show that as well.

Either ways, it all comes down to personal preference, and this is my personal preference.

Whether you like to admit it or not, traditional female swimsuits ARE much more revealing than traditional male swimsuits.

Sure, guys have the bare chest, while girls usually wear at least a small top to cover it up... but I'm not sure that counts, since that's just male/female differences. A woman's chest is considered a private part, while a man's chest isn't. So the chest part is kind of unfair to compare, and therefore doesn't really count.

But the bottom part... guys usually wear these huge shorts, that end right below the knee. While girls usually just wear a panty. That's a huge change right there, from something that ends right below your knee, to something that barely covers your bum. Just have a look for yourself. Ignore the fact that the girl has a top on while the guy is bare chested, like I said. Just focus on the butt-legs portion.

As such, I imagine wearing a bikini must feel pretty damn awkward... I mean I personally can't ever imagine having my butt cheeks exposed in public like ever, lol. Even if it's just the beach.

In that case, even a one piece is too revealing, since unless you wear shorts with it, a one piece swimsuit also shows the ass.

But either ways, I'm just curious as to how it feels like. I imagine it must feel free, but extremely awkward once you realize you're in front of everyone with your butt cheeks out.

This may sound like an extremely silly question, but despite having grown up in Orlando (Florida, USA) where it's hot as fuck, I grew up in an extremely conservative family, who believed showing skin was disrespecting oneself. We weren't Muslim or anything, but we just always wore long sleeves and long pants, nothing relatively low-cut... basically, all we showed was our face and hands.

My parents still follow these customs, my older sister doesn't, my younger brother doesn't, and I still personally do. I just always thought longer clothes looked more sophisticated and professional.

So I don't know how it feels to wear shorts. And I never gave it much thought, till I met my girlfriend, who wears in every season except winter, since Orlando is hot as fuck.

I look at her, and compare her style to myself. Her legs are completely bare, except for the upper thighs, where her tiny shorts start (no butt cheek, but a lot of leg), while my legs are completely covered.

Sometimes she asks me to feel her legs after having had shaved, and they are so soft and smooth... how can such delicate legs be almost constantly exposed?

She also one day asked me how I can live in Orlando and never wear shorts, and I just explained I came from a conservative family, and she said, "Ah, that's understandable, sweetie. But it's never too late to change, tehe. Plus, in this type of weather, with the exception of winter, shorts are a million times more comfortable than long pants."

Is my girlfriend right? Are shorts really that comfortable? I imagine it must be pretty weird to wander into public with bare knees and thighs... especially on public seats... and what if two people's legs touch when they're wearing shorts and sitting close together...

But I also never tried it wearing shorts, so... I'm here asking for your opinion.
